Maumelle is usually one of our favorite COE campsites. However, this visit was less than ideal. I had problems with the electrical pedestals at two different locations. Perhaps it was because we were over near the marina for the first time, instead of in what I consider the main area.

Very well layed out campground with ample spacing between camp sites. Very peaceful with nice views of the Arkansas River and Marina. Only negative was people coming from outside the park to use the showers each day. Seems like a lock system needs to be added (with code given to campers only) to ensure only campers can use the facilities. I've seen this done successfully at another popular Corps of Engineers campground in Kentucky (Cave Creek). This helps reduce over-use and wear/tear on the facilities.

This is a jewel. Very close to Little Rock. Quiet and very nice place to visit.

Excellent campground, located near fun activities such as kayaking, fishing, breweries, restaurants, hiking, birding, an awesome tequila bar. Very good campsites, multiple dump stations, Pinnacle State Park, Little Rock, easy to get to. Negative is lack of bathrooms within the campground.

Have always enjoyed our campouts at Maumelle. It is a great park and a wonderful place to stay. Campsites are fairly level which makes set up easy.
