The lady that works the check in station was great.

We are locals who love to camp and this is our weekend getaway spot between camping trips. When we tent camp we love B35 if we are alone or A05 if we have our children. When we take our camper we love E10. All of the spots are nice and mostly shaded but these spots fit our family and our needs. The staff is always super nice and helpful. The grounds are always well kept. The general use areas never interfere with the campers, as theyre more on the outskirts. Even the boaters arent a problem. We actually like to sit and watch them. We have made many memories here and look forward to making many more. We would highly recommend this park!! Blessings!

Campsite is great.front desk lady is not!! Very rude and no help whatsoever. Feel like her name is Dee, but could be wrong. I never write reviews, but her attitude inclined me to.

The campground is lovely, the view of the river and boat traffic was enjoyable. There was a hard rain one of our nights, which left a pond under our tow vehicle, had to wade in order to get in the truck.

What a good spot! B35 was our site, right on the water. Not far from the bathrooms either. About 4 sites from the boat ramp, so if you dont want that commotion that isnt the site for you. We were entertained by some hotdogging young fishing boat fellas!
The park is absolutely beautiful with fair restroom facilities; however, we were very disappointed with the camp host. She was not helpful and pretty much just plain rude. I hope she was just having a few bad days, but we have never experienced that at any other campground (public or private). Most camp hosts create a positive atmosphere and welcome you with campground information. She definitely did not display any host like characteristics.

This was my first trip ever to Maumelle State park so I did not know what to expect. The whole park was very nice! The personnel at the gate were very friendly and helpful. I found the campsite that I was at B-35 was very clean. The bathroom, shower rooms were very clean as well. The only recommendation I have and I am sure it's a safety issue, is that the hot water in the showers could be a little bit hotter. The water was warm, but when it's cold outside and the room is unheated it makes the shower a little chilly. Other than that I loved my experience...in fact I am already planning another trip back to Maumelle for sometime next month.
The campground was phenomenal. Extremely clean and well maintained. The site we chose was right on the Arkansas River. While there we visited the Big Dam Bridge. Terrific. We went to Pinnacle State Park. Truly a great stay. Only negative was the checkin procedure. It was like the Wizard behind the curtain. There was no literature for a campground map, area attractions, and park rules and regs. I really did not like talking to a voice behind the smoked glass guard house. But thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fabulous location.
We enjoy Maumelle Park very much and stay here several times a year. Access to the ARK River Trail is a big draw for us.
