Nice campground, family & pet friendly, playgrounds, clean facilities and multiple black/grey tank dump stations. Will definitely come back.

The campsite in Maumelle was a really nice spot clean, spacious, and well taken care of. It felt quiet and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The only downside was that theres no sewage hookup at the campsite, which can be a bit inconvenient if youre staying longer. Other than that, everything was great, and Id definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-maintained place to camp!

We were at Maumelle in October 2024. The campground was not overly busy, which we appreciated. Sites were mostly very large and not crowded.

One of the best state parks in the area. Stay here at least twice a year. Book early if you want river bank sites.

After we arrived, we realized we wanted to change camp sites. The lady at the desk was so helpful and moved us over for no charge!

We love to come to Maumelle Park! Since our kids and grandkids are in Little Rock, we come often to spend time with them and still have our own space. It’s very peaceful, sites are level & there is lots of space between sites so we don’t feel crammed in. Sites are always clean except this last time when the previous camper didn’t clean up after their dog so I had to do it for them. That’s just rude!

The park is immaculate!! So clean and pristine. Great waterfront views. The park was quiet. My favorite Arkansas place to go to! Also ths showers are indiviual rooms that lock and are clean too! FYI, you have to move your arms ALOT because the lights are motion sensored and kept going off on me.

You will need your GPS if you are not familiar with this area. Close proximity to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Some campsites are right next to the water, boating available here. Large campsites. All looked very clean. The park is VERY dark at night. Do none of the parks refill the soap to wash your hands in the bathrooms?

Campsite grass and trees were covered in poison ivy so we could barely let the kids play that way, they had to stay on the asphalt.
