The Maumelle campground was set in a nice location, and the camper pads were spaced well apart. We were located at E30 which had a bathhouse right behind it. Now, our rig does not have a shower, so we used the bathhouse. The men's bathroom was not well cleaned. Of the two showers, I could only get one to "work." The one that I was able to use had a mechanical push button on the wall to turn on the water. One push of the button would get somewhere between 1 and 3 seconds of water. Even with the minimal amount of water used, it ran out of warm water. We visited the campground in December and the bathhouse was not well heated, so the shower was a miserable experience. All the hooks on the bathroom doors and in the showers were broken, so there was no where to hang your clothes or towels. I did not visit the other bathhouses, and I cannot comment on their condition. If your rig has a bathroom, then I think this would be a very nice place to stay.

Strange thing happened. I had made my reservation on recreation.gov which used my Golden Access for my discount. Checked in, set up, spent first night. Next day, I got a call to come to the gate, asked what card I had used for my discount, because the computer still had me as not being checked in. Drove back to the gate (cannot walk that far) so my card could be directly looked at. I was imposition to due what???? Excuse was somebody did not look at my Golden Access Card....

Bath houses were decent, but they could stand to be painted / cleaned.
Most of the sites aren't really conducive for tent camping. But there are a few really nice ones with plenty of room for a large tent.
Great campsites and friendly neighbors with a wonderful view of the Arkansas River—what more could you ask for??? We enjoyed every minute!!!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
