The mens bathroom across from our site was locked. No sign was on it indicating that anything was wrong. I tried it several times over two days. It was always locked.

This was a very nice campground, the spots are large, and the majority of them are covered in shade. The fishing was good and the boat ramp was easily accessible. I wanted to start by telling people about the positive points of the park. The NEGATIVE points are the bathroom/showers! I camped here two weekends in a row, two separate trips and two different loop areas. First weekend staying in B loop my wife and I went to shower before bed around 9pm, as we pulled up we were met by a guy coming out of the shower and getting into a suspicious looking vehicle, he opened several of his doors and got clothes from a black trash bag, I knew he wasnt camping and felt very uncomfortable leaving my wife alone in the dark parking area, I figured he just needed a shower and didnt think much else about it. The following weekend we stayed in A loop near a different shower and the same vehicle pulled up, two guys, so I started paying close attention, I counted 5 vehicles for sure that were only there to shower, and not just a quick shower but each one was in the shower over 45 minutes and some more than an hour. I was camping directly across from the shower and when I wanted to shower before bed I was unable to use it, I went to the shower in B loop, I was greeted by a different suspicious looking vehicle with a guy sitting in it, I knew he wasnt camping either waiting on three other people taking a shower, so I wound up at the shower in E loop. I drove the entire park twice through the weekend and never saw any of these now 6 vehicles in the park. I mentioned it to the grounds keeper and the park ranger who both told me they had full knowledge of this going on and as long as they were out by 10pm it was ok. Whoever pays the water and electric bill should look into this matter. Rules are rules and I am ok with that, I wont be camping here again.

Great location. Recommended only RV camping. Tent camping was a little difficult with. O level ground, evidence of flooding at sight and high humidity during evening.

Lovely, large campground but loops and roads not as well marked as they need to be.

The area had a lot of rain and our camp site was swampy. The culvert was clogged and the water couldn’t recede. We unclogged it ourselves.

I booked one night at Maumelle Park for a quick overnight stay. After I checked in, I headed over to my campsite only to discover it was filthy. (Trash everywhere including food scraps, cigarette butts, dog feces, etc.) The fire pit was also overflowing with trash and soot. I picked up most of the mess and called the office to tell them so that I was not blamed (or charged) for the mess. The lady was very apologetic and ended up giving me a small refund. Afterwards I went to go take my shower and the bathrooms ended up being disgusting as well. (Honestly they looked like they had NEVER been cleaned!?)This seems to be a beautiful park and the office staff were lovely despite the circumstances, but this was an awful first impression for me and I will not be back.

Campground is wonderful. Large spaces with separation. Convenient dump station. Electric service. Quiet. We’ve been here four times in one year traveling north to south and back from Wisconsin.

Beautiful park. Plenty of room between sites. Bathroom was private and very clean. Easy to get to park. Will definitely stay here again but this time longer.

Nice park, however, the unusual winter storm forced us to have leave after one night of a 3 night reservation. They were nice enough to refund the unused nights without us even asking.

Second time there; absolutely no complaints. Wish there were more dump stations because of ratio of sites to dump stations would be very poor in peak season., especially since one of the stations is difficult for a long rv to get into.
