Have stay at this park for years and we thoroughly enjoy our time there. Only wish they had sewer hookups as well. That would make it a perfect park.

We always have a great time at Maumelle Park,Have a lot of places to visit and eat,Personal are friendly and always driving around to check and see if you need anything, only problem this time due to bad weather the grass was really high

Maumelle is a beautiful park with plenty of space between sites. Very convenient to shopping if thats your pleasure. I do have a couple complaints though. What makes this park so beautiful is the grounds. Over the last couple years the administration has become very lacks in some of the established rules. People not controlling their loud dogs and dogs not on leases (as per established rules) is a problem. Another issue is people parking in the grass causing mud holes during and after rains. The park in relatively low and flat on the river without real good drainage, yet the Rangers continue to let people park off the paved parking causing deeper and deeper ruts. The COE rules clearly states No Parking Off The Pavement. One last thing. There is a maximum of two vehicles per site. Often there are 3-4 vehicles per site causing part of the problem of people parking in the mud holes.

This campground was absolutely wonderful! I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was competent and helpful. The sites are spacious and nicely groomed. There are many fun things to do in the area. We took advantage of the biking trails and visited The Big Dam Bridge. We will come back someday! 10+ outta 10, for sure!

The park is very nice. We loved our site. The only negative comment I could make is the hostess was very rude. She was not helpful at check -in. Hosts are the first impression visitors have of our parks and often our state. I think it is important that hosts are courteous, helpful, and have welcoming attitudes. When I arrived at the check in station the hostess shouted at me "What do you want?" When I said I was there to check in she stated, " you'll have to come back, I'm busy now!" Other campers I talked to also mentioned she had been curt and rude to them as well.

Beautiful campground! Great sites, clean bathrooms and good showers. Though there were no laundry facilities, nor were sites full hook up, we will come back! It’s just a beautiful and relaxing park.
