The receptionist/greeter is always nice and she knows what she is doing. This is one of the nicest waterfront campgrounds in the entire Southeast. There is not a bad campsite in the whole park. Feels like you are on a river in the country yet you are so close to shopping and restaurants that you'll want to stay longer. Book 'em Danno.

We enjoyed this camping trip like always. Maumelle Park is a great park due to location. You are close to a couple other parks, shopping & many restaurants. We also like the layout & size of the park.

We enjoyed our time here. Campsite right on the river. Bath house was clean. Site was level and easy to back into.

The site was great. I do wish the hookups were more centrally located on the driver's side, rather than way at the back. Always enjoy the location for its network of trails and for the view of the river.

Reserved site and pulled in late after the gate house was closed. So the attendant showed up at my car at 6:15 AM to ask why my ticket wasn’t showing in my car window well is because he decided not to work. So he wakes me up rudely in the morning. Went to get a ticket later in the morning and they still weren’t working. pretty rude.!

We always enjoy ourselves camping and Maumelle is one of our favorite places to stay. Clean and friendly and close to town if you need something.

The lady that checked me in was extremely rude and treated me like I was a second class citizenshe always have a way that she acts with certain customers but her attitude was elevated during my check in process.

36B was very level and right by the river and across from the restrooms. Very Peaceful setting. Everything was clean. The restrooms are on one side and the showers are on the other side of the building. This site did have a fire pit and a table. The people running the check in stand were very friendly. There were a few trees between this site and the sites on either side. There was also a nice distance between this site and ones on either side.

Some of the parking pads need repair and if it rains much, you have to wade water to get into your camper. This was in B section. We had to walk in mud on B36.

Waterfront sites with electric and water are the higher fee by 2 bucks, but the geese leave quite a mess there. Great birding opportunity.

The park was well organized, clean, friendly staff.
All the sites are easy to get parked in.
If you need anything you can get to it in about 6 miles.
We definitely recommend this park for camping.

I almost hate to say how good Maumelle Park is because I don't want it to get too crowded. It's one of the nicest RV campgrounds anywhere with plenty to do and close to stores, restaurants, movies, etc. while still feeling like you are out in the country by the river. The staff is very nice and attentive. The favorite sites are in the B section on the water, but there is hardly a bad spot in this park with plenty of space and privacy. There is a boat ramp in the park and a marina attached to it with rentals, boating supplies, fishing, etc. The beautiful Arkansas River and foothills of the Ozark mountains is the back-drop. Level pad, picnic table and area, grill/fire-pit, electric, water. If you're in a campsite near the boat ramp, it gets pretty active in the morning at 6 with fisherman.
