Nice park, cool location. Weather was not on our side with the snow and freezing temps. Did not have water service and roads were not plowed, then when the melt came there was flooding. Mother Nature always reminds you who's in charge. The other thing is coming out of Tennessee we got sick and spent the first 3 days in the motorhome seemingly on a diet of DayQuil and NyQuil...LOL. Not the parks fault but glad we were in a good spot.Short drive to town for any supplies (or meds) you may need, several places to eat but we only did Sonic before heading for Texas.

B30 was a very nice site, right on the water. I was only there for one night, in transit, and left earlier than anticipated because of the heavy amount of rain occurring and in the forecast. The showers were less than ideal because the limited amount of space and clothes hooks available made it difficult to keep clothes and shoes dry while showering, but otherwise were fine.

Site B30 is a waterfront site with great views of the Arkansas River. There are a lot of sites on this loop so it feels a little bit busier than any of the others. Would definitely stay again!

Spectacular view of the lake/river We jump at the chance for the B sites on the waterfront!! The campground is so quiet and peaceful. Families are often strolling along the area!

It was so hot which had nothing to do with the park. However, it would have been nice if they had mowed before the Fourth of July holiday.

Maumelle Campground on the Arkansas River is a lovely spot to camp in. All sites include electric and two free dump stations are conveniently located. We had a great site right on the river and enjoyed watching barges, tugs and small craft up and down the river. There are several shopping centers a few miles away for convenience including grocery and drug stores and several restaurants. The only negative (not the parks fault) is that you are forced to make reservations using Recreation.gov instead of at the check in booth. Also not camp maps and instructions were available. We were told this is because the state of Arkansas is trying to save money but really--paper maps??

Spent 2 nights on a river front site. Everything was clean, quiet and in working order. Would definitely stay there next time we're back in Little Rock area.

We were in site B30 and the site was level and grounds well maintained. The sunset was great and we enjoyed watching the barges on the river. This was just an overnight stay, so we did not explore the whole campground. We would recommend this campground.

Beautiful campground however while we were there the grass was so tall it was terrible to walk anywhere through the grass arouns our campsite. It definitely had a negative impact on our stay.

This is a great COE campground right on the Arkansas River. The sites are spacious with 20/30/50A service, water, patio, table, and fire ring. Check in was easy. Just wish we had a map, so we knew where our site was.

Maumelle Park is awesome. Love the woods in Sec E, love the water in Sec B. People are always friendly. Dee & Walter are the best park staff we’ve ever had, they always make sure our stays are perfect.
