The ranger (temp host) personally greeted us on our first night. Very nice and assuring. We were close enough to the water we could just pop the kayaks in and paddle to the swim beach. The area is very clean and even in June the bugs were not bad. No bites and no need for the spray. A few candles done the trick. Over all a 100% satisfaction.

We were to be in E14 but could not get into that spot so we changed to B13. We talked to the hosts and they told us they would Cancel E14 but B13 was Cx and only part of our money was refunded.

We stayed in site E14. The pictures do not prepare you for what is in store. It is like a 45 degree angle to maneuver your trailer in the site. To top it off you also have to manage the angle while also not hitting 2 trees on each side of the pad. I was thankful that we were able to get in and situated. The site wasn't level so make sure you have your blocks. Also if you think you have enough hose to connect to the water...you're wrong. Bring more hose or a splitter. We had probably 8-10 trailers tied to each other to get water. If you don't have water plan on walking a quite a ways to the shower house. While it was clean and had hot-ish water it was disappointing the campgrounds didn't have another shower house to support the campsites. They do not have wood on site but several gas stations around the area do. Now on to the good. Once we were hooked up it was great to have such a nice view of the water. Sunsets were beautiful over the lake/mountains. Bring fishing poles because there is fishing to do right off the campsites. Water was a bit dirty but that was probably due to rain. The tenants on site were nice and the park was clean. Everyone was so friendly. I also really enjoyed how large our picnic pad was. It was fairly quiet in our area and there was privacy.Even though we had some struggles with our site specifically I would book here again but over in the B and G sites.

We reserved a 40feet space for our class A. When we got there, we found out the place was very narrow with sharp turn. There was no way we could park our RV. Then we tried to boondock there, but we couldnt find a flat parking space. The parking lot was on a hill. We had to leave and spent a night in nearby private RV parking place.
