great campsite; bathroom had no hand soap and the water would not stay on more that 1-2 seconds - otherwise would be 5 star

There wasn't much to do in the park, but it was a nice and convenient place to stay while visiting Little Rock.

Loved this campground. Right between the river and a series of ponds. Ponds were full of ducks and other wildlife. Campground staff were helpful and attentive. Beautiful area all around.

This place has really gone downhill. The fire pit has never cleaned. The bathroom stopped up. The Willow Beach boat dock handicap dock is not fishable and either little Laki pond someone needs to be fired. Theyre not doing their job. Its been over three years now since its been grown up so bad you cant even put a hook in the water is plum pitiful. Something needs to be REPLACED Ive called them Ive talked to them and nothing gets done and the price is going up which they are to pay you to come and visit as you can tell. Im not happy with this part of this parkt. It is pitiful. Thank you very much I would rated it one, but the grass was cut .

This is a small beautiful campground with amazing views of the Arkansas River.It is owned by the Army Core of Engineers so you book your stay on recreation.govThere is no beach which is strange due to the name but there are a lot of trees and grass that are all along the river bank. Every evening, we would take our chairs out to the river and watch the water fowl and fish life on the river. We must have seen more than 6 types of egrets/herons out there. There were a lot of little shiners jumping and sometimes we would hear a big splash and some big fish had jumped out of the water leaving only rings rolling over the water. We never got to see it actually jumping but we hear it numerous times!The camp hosts were very nice and available if necessary.The bathrooms are nothing fancy but perfectly adequate.

Very nice campground, quiet, campsites spaced well apart. Water & Electric, bathhouse with showers. We've stayed here twice for a one night stop each time while driving through Arkansas. There is a playground for kids, and its on the river which looks great for kayaking.

Favorite camping spot is #14, one of the post on the table cover is Rotting. Some of the concrete pads need to be built up. To much of a drop off. Fall potential. Well kept park. Wonderful volunteers. Not sure why there is no one in the other position. Bathroom is great.
