Rising Star Campground in Jefferson County is located just 26 min east of Pine Bluff, AR with an elevation of 199 feet. There are a total of 24 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 48 and 97 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Prices start at $19.00 per night. Some amenities include boat ramp, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Small off the beaten path campground on the Arkansas River. Quiet, beautiful trees. Wish the water front spaces were open in the off season.

Camp host was very welcoming and pleasant. Bathrooms are nice and roomy with plenty of hot water. Views are fantastic!

Site 7 on the river was level and had a lovely view. Friendly staff and clean park. Its far from everything, which is nice for a quiet stay. We enjoy the birdwatching here too!

I occupied a site that was already reserved. There was no indication of that and no mention that reservations are required. Everything worked out, but it was awkward and slightly embarrassing.

What an awesome place! Beautiful and peaceful. Lot sizes were generous and well kept. Our campground host was super, directing us to a spot which was more appropriate for our rig.

Nice sites. Waterfront sites are best, have fewer bugs. Check water levels before going if you want to get on the River.

Many great sites right overlooking the river. Sites are spaced out well. We had the one on the end #15. Even the sites not on the river looked good too. Bathrooms are new, clean, and smell fresh. We almost had the entire place to ourselves around the first of June. Very peaceful parklike setting.

Pads are long but hard to get into for a 38 5th wheel! Grass was high and chiggers/mosquitos very bad! But it is a campground on the river & that is to be expected. Fun watching barges go by!

This is a very nice, quiet place to relax and unwind. Pads are very level and well kept.

We had a great stay! Very peaceful and remote. Well kept up grounds and bathrooms. If you are looking to be out in the middle of nowhere, stay here! Would stay here again.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. The host, Tonya May, was very welcoming and allowed me to pick a site from those that were available.I have Mint mobile (t-mobile) and the cell reception seemed better on the sites that were closer to the entrance--the further to the right, the less reception.I would definitely return.

We were just passing through the area but found a great place to stay for the night.The park was beautiful, plenty of space between campsites, quiet, and no lights shining on us in the night. The sunset was awesome, and in the morning we watched a barge pushing through, fascinating.

Nice views immediately overlooking the Arkansas River. Facilities well-maintained. Campground host friendly and especially helpful in replacing an all-access card lost when my wallet was recently stolen.

Campgrounds were lovely. Facilities were clean and well maintained. We were traveling with little o es that used and enjoyed the playground. We would recommend staying here.
