This is a very nice campground with nice, graveled, roomy sites. We had a shelter over our table, which was nice. Roads are good. Jeff & Shirley were Fantastic Hosts! Very caring, friendly, and efficient! They, along with the maintenance man, were always checking things around the campground to keep it in good condition.

Lovely little park by the lake. Great birdwatching and sunsets too. Loved this place. We were in site 8.

Recently we spent an extended stay at Beard's Bluff, Millwood Lake, between Saratoga and Ashdown, Arkansas. We originally were in Site 10. After leaving we had trouble with our tow vehicle, had to return and extend our stay until vehicle was ready. We moved to Site 8. Feel very blessed to have been at this campsite with outstanding hosts Jeff & Cheryl Hicks along with fellow campers. Sunsets each evening were breathtaking along with being entertained by the many birds and "Wally" the gator who could be found sunning himself every day.

This is an absolutely beautiful Park and is located right on the water. The location and view could not be better. The sites all have electric and water. The dump is across the road and there’s only one. That could be an issue when there are several campers lined up. Our next visit we will schedule more time, as we only spent 2 days this trip.

This park is small, and very run down! Grass had not been mowed or weeded. Mud across our site made it impossible to get to our vehicle without walking through the mud or in the tall grass. Also late one evening we noticed people coming in the
campground off the nearby highway. Didn't feel safe here at all! Not all was bad though, the hosts that greeted us were very sweet! They gave us a map of the park and showed us were everything was, but they left out the location of the dump station. It's not in the campground, it's down the highway across the street! Who does that??????
