Stayed in site 16 this time good spot with table cover. Only thing was had to raise table side 3 inches to level. Be nice if all had table covers. Several holes in Grassed spots that need to be filled. Easy fix with some fill dirt. Worse thing is dump site across busy ( log trucks) highway. Need at least gray water dump in park. Also seems to be a easy fix using old fish cleaning station. Great attendants.

We love Beards Bluff, the fishing is great, most sites have a covered table, bathhouses, playground and the hosts are the greatest. We love sites 12, 13 and especially 16, 16 is a drive through site.

The weather was not good, but the little pull through we were in was ok. Kind of tricky to get to the campground though.

I visit here because the location is only a few miles from my mother's house. Regardless: the site is very-well maintained and the hosts are uber nice. The view of the lake in the early mornings and late evenings is the stuff of legends, but be warned: the summer heat is brutal! My prior visit was in August and I thought we would melt, lol, so this time: we visited in early-mid November and you can't get much better.

Site 16 was a nice pull through with a shelter over the picnic table area. The pull through is paved, and somewhat level front to back, but slopes down left to right to the right about 3 inches. Closer to the bathhouse and up from the lake shore. The site is well spaced from other campsites. I would return to this campground and this site again. Camp hosts were great.

It is a very affordable campsite, beautiful scenery. The bathroom and showers were close and very clean. The only thing that I did not like is the gates were left open so people that were not camping could drive down there. I think they need to keep the gates closed and install a gate code. However, there is a couple that stays on site to overlook the place, and the sheriff made a drive through, making it feel safe.

The camp host- Jeff/ Sherry are super nice- friendly they check on the campers throughout the day They are very informative..Ronnie keeps the campsites blowed off and trash picked up

This is a beautiful park with great views. I love their showers! We typically do not shower in our camper. These showers are 10x better than the state park. Plug-ins in the bathroom to blow dry your hair. The park and bathroom were very clean. Great little get away!

Great small Army Corps of Engineers campground. Site were well spaced, mostly level, and mostly shaded. The bath and shower building was aged, but clean and well maintained. Clean power and good tasting water.

This was our first time staying at a C.O.E campground and I was not disappointed. There was very spacious lots, very clean restrooms and showers. It will defiantly be on of our goto campgrounds from now on.Thank you Recreation.govScott and Becky Waldron from southern MI just passing through.

We love camping here. Always so quiet and peaceful and the lake is beautiful at sunset! Hope they eventually cover all of the tables as this is a great addition to the camp experience.

We love coming to beards Bluff its close to Ashdown if we need to go get anything. Its convenient to get to dam where we fish sometimes. It is beautiful sunsets. You get to meet others. We love it here.

The campground host Jeff, was the best campground host we ever met. He called us on the road and told us our site was ready whenever we got there. We were on our way to Texas and stayed there on the way down and back. Coming back, Jeff called again and told us bad storm was coming and moved us to a better site where we were less likely to be affected by the weather. You need more hosts like Jeff. He really cares about people.

The campground was good; clean and uncrowded...except for ladybugs! There were millions! We are still finding them in our camper. There was loud construction on the dam and log trucks using Jake brakes. None of that is the parks fault, but...

Most Sites are level, plenty of room. Restrooms clean. We were at site 16 pull thru, good site close to restroom.
