This is a beautiful park. It is back in the woods but beautiful views of the lake. The camp hosts are very nice and very helpful. We were in site 42 beautiful views and always a breeze blowing. We were there at a bad time of year for the first hatching of mayflies. The mayflies were pretty bad, and you couldn't really sit outside. We noticed that they were not to bad at sites that were in away from the water. I would stay here again if in the area. Very peaceful, not busy at all when we were there.

Stan and his wife were gracious, friendly and fun Campground hosts. The best we had on our 4 month journey down south!

Host and volunteers are extremely hands on, patrolling and helpful. Cheerful and caring.

WE ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT TIME AT COTTONSHED. HAVE MET AND MADE LOTS OF FRIENDS. IT WAS VERY HOT THE WEEK WE WERE THERE THOUGH SO WE LEFT EARLY. WOULD STILL LOVE TO SEE A SHED OVER TABLE AT 42.

ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT TIME AT COTTONSHED. MET SOME FAMILY FROM SOUTH CAROLINA LAST YEAR AND THEY COME BACK WHEN THEY CAN. NOT REAL BLOOD FAMILY BUT FEEL LIKE IT. EVERYONE DOWN THERE ARE REALLY GOOD PEOPLE. DAN AND STAN AND BECKY ARE GOOD FRIENDS. DIDN'T CATCH AS MANY FISH AS WE USUALLY DO BUT THE WEATHER WAS AWFUL THOSE 2 WEEKS. BUT WE WILL KEEP GOING BACK. IN FACT WE WILL BE DOWN THERE THE 4TH OF JULY. ALREADY BOOKED. LOL WE WILL PROBABLY GO BEFORE THEN. WOULDN'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE. ONLY ONE THING, I WISH YA'LL WOULD BUILD US A SHED OVER 42. LOL WE GO SO MUCH OUR FRIENDS THINK THAT SPOT SHOULD BE NAMED GADDIS LANE.

WE MOSTLY STAYED AT CAMP AND VISITED WITH FRIENDS FROM SOUTH CAROLINA WE MET IN MARCH. THEY ARE JUST LIKE FAMILY. THEY ACTUALLY ARE COMING BACK IN MARCH NEXT YEAR TO CELEBRATE HIS 60TH BIRTHDAY. MY GRANDKIDS AND AL WENT FISHING SOME. WE LOVE IT DOWN THERE. BEEN GOING FOR YEARS AND YEARS.

Beautiful campground with an awesome disk golf course. Also, the gentlemen who work there were the best campground hosts I've come across. What a wonderful experience.

ALWAYS LOVE GOING TO COTTONSHED PARK. WE ONLY LIVE ABOUT 10 MILES FROM THERE BUT IT IS THE BEST. JUST SPENT 3 WEEKS THERE AND PLANNING ON GOING BACK FOR THE 4TH OF JULY. MET SOME WONDERFUL PEOPLE FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. HIT IT OFF JUST LIKE FAMILY.
