I was here in the off season and they were still pretty busy. Was nice and quiet. Sites were well taken care of and spacious. My site was very level. Bathrooms were clean with warm showers. Camp host came thru several times a day and always stopped if he saw you to make sure you didn't need anything or if you was enjoying your stay. Internet was spotty but if I didn't need it for work would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed my visit here.

Beautiful location. It is off the beaten path some but worth the drive. There is good space between sites with trees. Lake side sites give an awesome view of lake but the North Loop still close enough to see the lake. Dan, the Host, was very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night but will go back next time through.

The bathrooms could have been cleaner. The first time I used the shower in the men's bathroom it was unclean and it was not an enjoyable experience, however, the second time days later it was much improved. The campsite was great with the covered picnic table. Very clean. The firepit was nice also.

Loved the park. Sites were roomy, well appointed (fire rings had stone surround-very upscale), and they had wide, paved parking areas. Showers get rave reviews for cleanliness but one side of the building's air heat was warmer than the other. Sunsets over the lake were amazing. We stayed in sites 006 and 008 which shared a water hook-up. But if you want to be hooked up I recommend that you have more than 50 feet of hose and a splitter if you will be sharing the faucet with the other site. The cell phone and wi-fi signals were not as strong as the booking site advertised-it said 3 bars and we were lucky to get 1 to 2 on Verizon. Those next to us had AT&T and they lost all signal at times.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The park host and attendant were welcoming and accommodating; really nice! The park was beautifully maintained and the only reason I could not give a 5-star rating is: No sewer hookups available, water hookup was awkward (located maybe 45-50 ft from our campsite), water has very unpleasant taste (even with filter) so we drove to purchase bottled water and finally, we had very poor cellphone reception with Verizon and AT&T. Whew! Having said all of that, we did LOVE it ! Very serene and a place we will definitely return to in the future!
