This campground was clean but there is nothing to do but fish in the river. We stayed one night in route to another COE park.

Very well kept campground. Not too busy even on Friday night. Nice big level pull through. Would definitely come here again!

Very nice and quiet campground. Bathroom was clean, camp hosts were attentive and very helpful.

This park has been SEVERLY neglected, I can only assume from lack of funds or lack of volunteers. Someone did try to mow before we got there, but pretty obvious it was done with a brush hog, as no commercial mower could have possibly knocked that high grass growth down. Such a beautiful park too, well laid out, easy to park I would think any rig could park easily and beautiful old established trees were everywhere. Unfortunately, even the roads could not be walked upon easily because of debris. My little puppy could hardly walk through the roads or the side of the road due to grass that needed to be bailed after cut. The playground was not accessible whatsoever. Many areas were marked off with yellow tape (looked like a crime scene) and it had been that way for a very long time - this was not a new thing. Sad....very sad. If you would have had a mower available, my husband would have gladly volunteered to mow. We could have picked up limbs if someplace to put them. You should seek more volunteers....and should be ashamed to let such a beautiful park go to seed like that.

Only thing that would have made this the best trip, would be having an internet signal. Once you drop off the levee and go a little ways you lose all service. No way to get help if needed. The Government should really look into getting a tower placed in that area ASAP!

Nice level sites, bathrooms could have been cleaner but not awful. Quiet and rangers were very friendly.

Wonderful quiet spacious park! Would be glad to come back. Good facilities. Verizon signal very marginal but that’s ok!

If you want to fish the river, this is the place. But it's very snakey and buggy. It's ok for a stop over though.
