Had a good stay. The weather was a little dicy a few days but enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful lake. The campsite was spacious and clean. The bathrooms were outdated but clean. Firewood is not sold onsite. This place is our 2nd favorite camping place.

Great spot #57, flat, level. And good close boat parking.

Site 57 is a good site, fairly level (add about 2” to passenger side). Good privacy on door side of RV. Down side is that, over time, rangers and park attendants have become lax about enforcing the posted campground rules and have allowed campers to park multiple vehicles around a site too close to, and sometimes out in the road making it difficult or impossible to pull through the area or maneuver into a site without having to have someone move a vehicle to let you through. Unfortunately over the years the quality and beauty of the campground has degraded probably due to its usage and indifference of its patrons. Cell coverage (AT&T) is fair, tv reception on antenna only isn’t great but a few channels will come in. Water hookup is not available at every site, but maybe should be a consideration for future improvements.

Always love camping at Shouse Ford except this trip was not as enjoyable because of the heavy rain and some storms and the cooler temps. The rain was so much that the lake kept coming up each day and made parking the boats at the sites a problem. The rain stopped and the temps got warm just as we had to go home.
