We stsyed in camp site 36 for 2 weeks in a 28 ft. class C motorhome. We also had a jeep gladiator towing a fishing boat. We were able to keep the boat in the water near our camp site, and were also able to launch our kayak from the beach there. The shoreline is fairly protected by islands there .

Alpine is the prettiest camp on DeGray. Electric, water, and immaculate bathrooms. Plus good folks camping at all times. We consider Alpine our go-to.

The park was very nice, bathrooms were clean, shower had plenty of hot water, however as a handicapped person there was no place to sit down after your shower to put your clothes on ( need a small bench outside the shower stall )

I was disappointed that when making reservations there were very few spots to chose from, then after spending several days there.. many of the RESERVED sites remained empty. There needs to be some penalty for no show non cancellations so that the rest of us that want to camp can find sites.

Great site. other than the group that was wanting to move into our spot many hours before our checkout time. If the water is much lower it wouldnt be very accessible from the site.
