Enjoyed our stay. Park was cleaner that usual. Freshly mowed.

Lovely, peaceful place to spend time in the fall. I arrived right before opening day of deer hunting season and I was worried about crowds and noise. It did get busier but the hunters tend to leave early in the day and are gone most of the day so the campground remained quiet. The campground itself is on a peninsula so you are surrounded by water. Sites are spacious and well equipped (concrete pad, concrete picnic bench area, firepit, and pedestal charcoal grill.) Clean restroom facilities.

The campground was great but it could use some cleaning up. The pads need some work done on themes

Quiet, clean and great site pads. Bath house actually had soap, TP and paper towels! We will be back again!

Stayed here several times and have been very pleased except for one time this past summer. I stayed in spot 19 and it was horribly unlevel and I had never seen so many bugs in one place. My last trip wasnt near as bad. If anything I wish the place was sprayed better for bugs and weeds kept clear. Seen some campers cleaning the weeds from the banks so people could get to the water and fish. I do love the peaceful atmosphere and will be back

Would like to see the parks go back to some walk-in sites.Instead of all sites reserved. Also not have reservations during 3/1 and 5/1 and After Labor to end of October for extended stays.A weekend stay here and there keeps that from happening.

When we 1st started going to Alpine it was beautiful, clean & well managed. Now it's not. It's not clean of brush or burnt off often. The ppl that clean the bathroom are great. They do very good jobs. The rangers are very nice. It would be great if the undergrowth could be managed more.
