The showers and bathrooms were horrific.

Only 7 FHU sites- sites are close and our site- #3 was a pull through that was BARELY off the road. Because of placement of e/w/s we had to pull through and keep our door on street side. No awning out- and check for traffic before you step out. Also notable that picnic table and fire ring were just feet from the utilities. Fire out was FULL of ashes- clearly not having been cleaned since last campers. Half the sites sit on a hill overlooking the main drag through the park.
Old facilities and not especially clean. Playground equipment circa 1970’s

Breaking down camp- using sewer at that site was IMPOSSIBLE- as the sewer inlet was SEVERAL INCHES higher than anywhere you could position your camper in the site. You know what they say about sh*t…..it DOES NOT run UPHILL. We had to hook up and move to another site to dump. Makes ya wonder why I paid for a full hook up!?
Quiet hours not respected. Camp hosts friendly.
Beaver Lake is pretty and well used by boaters. Otherwise there is nothing to do- no trails, etc.

Would not recommend Starkey Campground.

Great campground , clean bathrooms and shower room ,friendly experienced staff ,well maintained grounds and amenities in a beautiful setting.
