The asphalt at site 29 is crumbling. Made it difficult to back in fifth wheel and get all four feet on asphalt

I loved this spot because it's secluded from all the others. It is surrounded by trees, which gives an air of privacy. There's no view of the lake, but that's okay... it's just a short hike away.

nice views, very secluded and peaceful. Sites are not very level.

All of the lake side spots were closed due to heavy rain storms in the previous weeks. Recreation.gov did send out a notice of closure up to the 21st of May. We did reschedule prior to our arrival. The site description left a lot to be desired as when we arrived the camp host asked if we were sure of our selection. The host drove up to our chosen site rather than take our trailer to view our site. There was no way that we could use that site. The host placed us in a more accommodating location for the evening. We were able to contact Recreation.gov and reschedule our stay for the duration of our visit.

Host was wondering Site #29 was perfect Took our grandson for first real camping trip & it was great

Very friendly staff. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Park was quiet and peaceful.
