This is a difficult site to use for an RV. It has a lot of slope which creates a huge drop when stepping out. Additionally, the ground has washed away from the asphalt creating another 6-8 inch drop. It was dangerous to get in and out of our RV. Some other campers told us a lady hD fallen and broke her leg on that site due to the extreme drop. We will schedule a different site in the future. The bathrooms need updated and cleaned. Those are the negatives. The positive is that Beaver Lake is just phenomenal. It is beautiful and we are appreciative of the opportunity to visit. I understand that things will not always be perfect. I just wanted you to know about that site so that it could have some fill added around it. Thank you.

We were camping next to friends and we both had the same problem, FLYs. Not just one or two but one thousand or two. They were in the grass between the two campsites and when food was brought out to eat at the picknick table they were impossible to control (the table and food would turn black with flies. Someone, probably the last camper had did something to the area. Putting that aside the park was great, swimming was great.

Very clean and comfy. Loved the spots and everything about this camp ground. Will definitely be back.

The site was clean well kept and you could almost jump into the water from our camper door. Only drawback would be how tight it was to back into. If your not very skilled backing a camper and your camper is longer than 20' you may want a different site. I have pulled and backed trailera my whole life and it was difficult to back our 30' camper into the site because of trees and a slight turn into the site.

Great campsite. Right on the water. It is close to a boat ramp, but we enjoyed watching the boats come and go. Plenty of shade. Nice little cove.

First off the lake is the lake... beautiful and clear, however! We stayed at campsite 4 after finding out less than a week before our week long trip was cancel due to original site at the dam was underwater(that site needs to be forever closed). Campsite 4 is right next to the dock and ramp which was noticeable from the pics, HOWEVER what is NOT noticeable is the FLOOD LIGHT YOU WILL HAVE ON YOUR CAMPSITE ALL (ALL!) NIGHT LONG. After returning from our trip I had asked for some kind of refund(not expecting a full refund by any means) and was denied twice with no explanation or anything. Was told by Recreation.gov customer assistance that the Park Rangers make all decisions about refunds.... THIS IS JUST VERY DISAPPOINTING PERIOD.

I went in having read the other reviews and knew the site was next to the boat ramp and kind of tricky to get in. Eric, the site attendant, was so kind and helped guide me as I backed in my small camper. The site and facilities were all clean and well cared for. I actually appreciated being next to the dock while camping alone. I got very spotty service with T-Mobile which actually helped me unplug more and read more and go on more walks. It is one of the few sites in the whole campground with no direct water access. Luckily it's close"ish" and I could reach it to fill my tanks with a few fresh water hoses. I hope they'll make each site have its own water. Would be such an improvement. Also, being next to the boat ramp had its perks like going out and sitting on the dock in the dark watching the stars and moon. Would recommend this site and would come again.

We loved our site but it needed mowed as always. Im going to bring my mower everytime from now in and mow my own site. We had many ticks on us each day we were there.

Beautiful campground. Well maintained. Only problem was our site had a drop off of the pavement. We had to make a ramp for the steps. Needs to be fixed as it is a big safety risk. Otherwise I loved the campground.

Not enough parking. Area is busy with boat trailers parked everywhere.

Well maintained campground on Beaver Lake. Mostly shaded for at least part of the day. Large bathrooms with showers. Within 30min of Rogers/Bentonville area for shopping and dining as well as Walmart museum a must see and Crystal Bridges Museum another must see. Pea Ridge National Battlefield close by for history buffs.

Park wasnt very well maintained. Bathrooms were unclean. Entire park needed mowed. Tall grass and weeds were an issue. Great proximity to water. Single boat launch only.

Campsites are really getting to be run down. The asphalt has 6 inch drop. Unsafe!! The restrooms get cleaned sometimes. Could use an update or a real deep clean.

The camp host was very accommodating and very friendly. We found the table shelters a plus, great addition.

We stayed in RV site 30. The pad needed repair and enlarged. But over all, the campground was nice and the swimming area was good. Will definitely stay there again. Just not in RV site 30.

Every year we have stayed at the same spot, this year the swim area was extremely crowded and the crowd of people were a younger crowd, and not so friendly. We shortened our stay because it just wasnt peaceful and enjoyable like it used to be.

This is a great shady area that has nice views of the lake through the trees. Bathroom needs updated and the "beach" was a disappointment with no sand and painful rocks to walk on to get out to the swimming area. We have visited other Beaver lake campgrounds and was hoping for more sand on the beach area. Host was great and friendly and the cove was nice. However there were too many boats and seadoos coming in and out to the swim area when the kids were swimming. Very busy spot with boats and all the trucks with boat trailers lining the entire front road. Overall good experience just too busy and rocky beach for us.

Had a beautiful site during the week. Nice quiet campground, lovely views of the lake.

We stayed at site 17 which was right in front of the swim beach. It worked out pretty well since it was very hot and we swam a lot during the weekend, but there were no trees for shade and NO water hookup at this site - it appeared that none of the lake front sites had water. On the plus side, the lake front view was absolutely gorgeous. The showers were absolutely disgusting, but the toilets were flush toilets and tolerably clean. Camp hosts were very nice. I felt like the playground was in good shape and suitable for young children. I would probably camp here again at a different site with water hookup.

Loved this campground. It was great to have a waterfront site where we could easily launch kayaks. Will definitely stay here again.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
