We came in for a two night stay,Friday and a Saturday this month. The restroom facilities were very poor and not well maintained. For not having water hook ups the facilities should be clean and maintained well. Also we had more than two others staying at the park tell us they were regulars their for the fishing. They informed us to make sure we did not leave anything out over night that we wanted to keep.i ask why and they replied with because their is alot of theft due to some of the campers being more of a permanent situation. I did not ask to elaborate on this but by the looks of some of the sights it was understood. Also most parks have a curfews, this one was wild and loud all threw the night! Over all just seemed like the park was neglected. We only stayed one night and left the next morning. Thank you

Enjoyed the area. Nice sites. Would like better bathroom facilities. Will definitely go back.

This was the last place I stayed on a 3-week trip and it was my favorite. It is quiet and beautiful. It is a small campground and the campsites seemed well placed so that they aren't too close together and I think most, if not all, have a view of the lake. It is about 20 miles from Eureka Springs along very curvy roads, but with the fall color and gorgeous drive. Going west, it is about the same distance to Rogers/Bentonville with all the restaurant variety, shopping, and museums that part of Arkansas offers.

The shower house is probably 1.5 to 2 miles from the camp area. Very disappointing. We stayed in mid October and the showers may have even been closed. We didn't check it out because they were so far away. However, there is a flush toilet facility right in the camping area that was open. There needs to be a shower in the camping area so that campers don't have to get in a vehicle and drive to them.

Beautiful campground with excellent lake views. Be prepared for descending and ascending to campground on about a 15% grade in areas on the 1/2 mile trip to/from entrance. Only negative was that the dump station is all the way up that 15% grade just outside main park entrance. The hiking trail is an enjoyable 4.7 mile hike through some quiet forest areas and along the lake.

Very nice park. Clean & quiet with level asphalt pads. Will return.
