There is not water at each site so depending on the site you reservemay have to bring over 200 foot of hose to reach water to fill RV tanks. The road in the campground around sites 6-10 is deteriorating so bad that if you have a long trailer you could have to back out. Also sites like 4 hold a lot of water when it rains. Site 7 the drive on each end is collapsing.

The lake is beautiful and that's the biggest attraction and reason for us visiting this campground. The campground needs some attention. The vault toliet was very dirty, the flush toliet was a little better, and the shower house is literally falling apart. All of the infrastructure is old and worn with the exception of some newer power pedestals. Fortunately, we have toliet and shower in our camper, so we might return, but some folks have to use these sub-standard facilities.

Small, quiet campground with great views and easy access to water. Can't wait to go back.

This campground continues to deteriorate. We've camped here at least twice per year for over 15 years. It is not BAD, but the deferred maintenance is piling up. Last spring, there was no hot water for the showers; this fall it seems they've replaced the heater, but with a very small one that runs out quickly. Electric poles are falling down, but still work. Railings on the lakefront sites are falling down, overgrown, and beginning to rot. Drainage of many sites leaves pools of water after a rain. There is only one site with 50 amp service, which is below standard for modern equipment. Bottom line, Lost Bridge North needs a makeover. That said, we'll continue to visit since it has family memories attached.Oh, while it may not make a lot of difference most of the time, the lack of a campground host and very little oversite by rangers, the Corps, and the county mean that there is no control on usage. During holiday weekends, with little enforcement, the campground is packed beyond the supposed limits, creating crowding and high noise levels.

Our biggest complaint was that the water at the dump station id not have a hose fitting that would connect to our tank to flush it. Very nice campground, well spaced. Recycle bins are a plus, dont see those very often. Easy access to nearby Pea Ridge historic battlefield, which was our main interest in the area. One of the hiking trails in the campsite area was not at all marked.

The 30 amp electric box outlet is not working properly and caused our camper 12 volt battery to drain to empty. All the appliances quit working and all the hydraulic jack lifts on the camper were not usable. We canceled the last seven days of our trip due to these problems with power. I told a patrolling Corp Ranger about the electrical box problem, but he said that he knew nothing about the electrical system and wished me good luck. I finally got a relative to come jump start my camper battery and helped me get the hydraulic jacks to work so we could abandon the powerless site #04 at Lost Bridge North on Beaver Lake in Arkansas.

1) Lack of 50 amp electric service.2) Vault toilet uncleaned for several days, and when it was clean, poorly done.3) Lack of controlled access - numerous unregistered day users. Only 1 interaction with C of E or Ranger service in 8 days of camping.Comment: This campground is in serious need of rehabilitation, and has been neglected since I started camping there 18 years ago. I will visit again Memorial Day 2022; if no significant rehab by that visit, I'll no longer make the drive from Kansas City. This is a sad commentary on Corps of Engineers management of a facility.

We just can’t get enough of Lost Bridge North. This time we brought friends with their camper and just could not get over how beautiful the park was. The park attendant was so friendly and polite! While the boys fished my girlfriend and I had a wonderful day of shopping in Eureka Springs and had great BQ at Smokie Joes.
