Great access to Willow Springs Lake. The campground is very clean. The hosts do a great job of keeping it up.

Third time staying here. I really like this place. It is close to the highway, so you can hear that traffic and see the headlights thru the trees, its that close. There are walking/hiking trails and its not too far from the lake, we always drive to the lake, don't wanna carry all that fishing gear that far. I don't think you can have open camp fire yet, so we took a gas grill and a cast iron pan and did all our cooking on that, no issues. Feels pretty safe, as there are neighbor campers no far apart from you. There are a couple restrooms in the camp area, they are no CLEAN, but good enough since your camping. There was potable water at the camp host site and trash dumpsters, The camp sites have picnic tables, and lots of chipmunks. Not a bad place and we will continue to return when we can. Thumbs Up.

Sinkhole Campground only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because its small and sites are super close together. The roads are shaped like a barbell. 11 or 12 sites on one side of the campground and same on the other. To the right are first come first serve sites. To the left are the reservable sites on the .gov website. Each side has bathrooms. The number of chipmunks are incredible and they will eat anything thats open on your table and in your trash. Cute for entertainment. Host was lovely. Bathrooms were as clean as could be with that many people. Close to road 260, but got quieter late at night. Best thing was the closeness to Willow Springs lake. Its about a mile, and it is walkable. Has a small parking lot. Stocked with trout, but hard to catch from the shore, you really need to be in a boat. No rentals at the lake, but has a nice boat launch. Pit toilets and picnic benches available. Good for an overnight or two day trip.

Visiting Willow Springs in October was a wonderful time. The Sinkhole campgrounds were extra clean and the camp host was extremely helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. Reserving a space was convenient and we had the perfect location for our RV and extra vehicle. Clean water and trash pickup was always available and the restroom was better than I have ever found in a park.

Great camp ground, lots of space and only a mile from the lake.

It's so beautiful out there. So many animals and the lake is gorgeous.

Not a bad space among the 26 spaces on 2 circles. They are large and shady. Campground Host was very helpful when I couldn't get the trailer off the hitch ball. I especially liked the "trailhead" from my space (14) that led to a great loop I completed every morning. Sad to see Willow Springs Lake getting low enough that the boat dock isn't in the water, but it also makes for some great new launch and landing spots for us kayakers.

The couple running the camp site are not very nice. Both were kinda rude. The sites are SUPER close to each other, so you can hear everything going on with other campers.
Was told by my husband mens bathroom is not well kept. Womens bathroom was clean and surprisingly didn't smell horrible.
If you are a younger couple or have kids i wouldn't recommend this spot.
I will say the camps are well maintained so that was good.
Bring headphones or ear plugs if you are tent camping and want to sleep. The wildlife and people around you are SUPER loud at night.
