We had spot 21. Very close to the restroom which I was concerned that the smell would be bad. Surprisingly it was not. The restroom was cleaned 3x a day that we saw.The campsite was also very clean. No litter at all from the previous campers.Pad to park the camper was very large and easy to park. The camp host Jermey was wonderful. He was the one keeping everything so clean. He was very friendly and gave us great information about the area. There were only 2 negatives on this trip. The first was about this spot. It is very close to the main road. The cars/trucks driving past kept us up throughout the night. The second was our luck. We came up on a weekend that did not allow campfires. No smores. :-( Great spot to take the family! Will defiantly be back.

The location is very good. we have kayaks so we paddle willow springs lake one half mile down the road. the camp host Sharon is wonderful and on this occasion came out late to assist with a nearby generator bozo. the negative to this near perfect camp is the road noise from 260 which s a half mile. the major road construction at this time didnt help including the down shifting large trucks. normally the noise would not be so bad, but be warned you will see a steady stream of cars through the trees and hear the distant cars. the proximity to the lake outweighs the road distraction for us.

Enjoyed our stay. Would explore other campgrounds nearby next time. A few things we didnt like:Generators running all night till morning. Road noise from Highway Sites are close together Things we liked:Restrooms clean and smelled niceActive small wildlife and birds

Clean, well maintained, rustic campground. Level parking pads! And friendly, helpful camp host!Stinky outhouse, but thats not the hosts fault, as they were clean and fully stocked.

This campground is well maintained and in a beautiful natural setting. The asphalt pads are perfect for our 24 foot motorhome. Sharon, the camp host, was very friendly and welcoming.

Overall a nice, simple campsite. We usually do a site south of the rim, but decided to try Sinkhole to be closer to the lakes. Being a 5 minute drive from Willow Springs Lake and the rim lookout where super helpful. We even had wild horses come by one morning and hangout near our campsite.Be aware: you are close to the highway and road to the lake, meaning you may hear some traffic and not feel fully immersed in nature like at other camps sites. There is very little to no cell service (T-mobile) so we had to drive to the rim visitor center. Many RVs at the site, so if you are focused on being amongst tents, I recommend a different site.

Everything was great except we made the mistake of choosing the spot right next to the bathrooms; site #21. The smell was awful. In addition, we had zero cell service as there was no signal.

When I got there I found out someone wanted to switch sites with me and the people running let him do it without even checking with me.

Restrooms were exceptionally clean and the hosts were pleasant and professional. Due to covid-19 entrance to the campground was restricted to guests only and the hosts did a great job enforcing that. Proximity to excellent mountain biking and kayaking in Willow Lake made for an enjoyable visit. Also hiking around in the sinkhole was fun. All in all I highly recommend this campground.
