I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Sink Hole campground this year. It was very convenient to access Willow Springs Lake. The camp host was very helpful and friendly.

Best maintained campsites I have ever seen. The bathrooms are very clean and the camp host is constantly on the go preparing the sites for new arrivals and ensuring the bathrooms are clean. The site is a little close to the main road so if your tent camping it may bother you. Sleeping in a camper with a noise machine helps. If there are allot of RVs close you will hear their generators running.

Loved the location and cleanliness of the campground and latrines. Hated, hated, hated the noise from generators.

The campground was immaculate. The host was friendly and it’s located close to the lake. BUT the campground itself is only 1/4 -1/3 mile away from the highway! The sound of truckers and vehicles all night was nothing short of MISERABLE! I ultimately left my tent and slept in my truck!

If you are sleeping in a trailer or RV, it’ll probably be okay. Otherwise, you’ll need ear plugs or headphones

I have camped up on the Mogollon Rim many times. But this is the first time I camped out at the Sinkhole Campground next to the Willow Springs Lake. I was originally going to camp at the Gila Hot Springs campground, in New Mexico. But with the Black Fire only 10 miles or so from the campground, I changed venues! I was lucky to find a spot in such a short time. I found only one camp site and that was at the Sinkhole Campground.Overall - this campground is wonderful. The setting, facilities, and camp host (Sharron) were perfect. The lake is incredible! You can see a short video I put together of my trip on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZF-pkgjBH5cThe only down side to this particular campground is that it is almost on top of Highway 260. So you hear a great deal of road traffic.Other than that - I would highly recommend this camp site!

First time trying Sinkhole campground. Excellent location to Willow Springs Lake. Although close to the main road, we did not hear traffic. Very quiet campground. Vault toilets were very well maintained. Camp hosts friendly. We will be back! Hesitated to leave a 5 star review, as we'd love for this little campground to remain 'off the grid' in terms of heavy usage! Our only 'wish' would be electric hookup. We stayed during covid timeframe - the option of visiting Canyon Point campground to pay for shower usage was not available. We noticed 'seasoned' campers brought dolly to haul water storage containers to the camp host area, where you could obtain drinking water. This is a great little campground!
