The campground was well maintained with comfortable sites, and the host was helpful.

Nice camping area. Friendly camp host/staff. Ample space between other campers. Great view of the city on one side and desert on the other. Definitely coming back.

Great views of the mountains and trees, especially during the sunset hours. The campground is very well-maintained. There are also trails to walk around the whole campground. Definitely one of the best campgrounds that I have camped in.

Camp was large. Some spots were close but not to cramped. Plenty of places to get water. Camp host very friendly and helpful.

Site 89 is good for 1-2 people as there isnt much usable flat ground available. A 1-2 person tent is all that will fit comfortable on the site. Its close to the pit toilet, dumpster, and fresh water. The site does not have good views of the surrounding mountains or valleys. You will see a lot of trees on a downhill slope beneath the campsite. There is some privacy between you and your neighboring sites. NOTE: No open flames of any time are allowed. Make sure you read the campsites note on this page. The good news is that Wrightwood is 10 minutes away and offers many food options. Also, the building where you usually check in is closed. So, I just went to the site directly and one of the camp hosts drove around checking everyone in. Great camp ground overall. Chains are currently required as several posted signs on the way in stated.

The place is great, youll camp under pine trees over the crest of the mountain. Camping spots are spacious. Water and toilets are available. Also tables, fire rings and grills. If you go on dry season ( Sep - Dec ) make sure you bring electric stoves as no fires of any kind are allowed, ( not even propane) but you will need to check with the ranger first to see whats allowed. Just be cautious and follow the rules, and youll be fine.

Showed up to the campground and found out there was a fire restriction that had been in place since August. Nowhere on the recreation.gov website was that information available. It wasnt available when I made the reservation and it wasnt available when I checked the facility info. Very disappointed.

It was beautiful and clean ! I loved it . Only rated it mid because we werent allowed to use any camp fire or our stoves totally understand the risk of wildfires . But we werent prepared or informed to not use our stove until we had arrived. And we had to drive out to restaurants we were disappointed we didnt even finish our trip stayed one day and left

Amazing views! Fresh mountain air! A seriously underrated escape lies outside of the town of Wrightwood! We came for Oktoberfest, rode the chairlifts to the summit, played on the blowup slides, bounce castles, danced to live music, laughed at all the competitions, enjoyed great food, and wonderful libations. We ended each day with serene sunsets overlooking the desert. So many options for our family and we will definitely come back. Thank you MT High! Table Mountain is Awesome!

Such a great campground. Clean toilets. A trail that wraps around the whole campground. If you pick the right camp site, you have an over look of Palmdale/ Lancaster to the West or Victorville and surrounding areas to the NorthEast. We had a really good time here. Definitely coming back.

The place is great but. Was not advise of the no fire policy until I drove to the check in site. No fire pits, stoves or any kind of fire allowed. This information should of been communicated ahead of time before having to drive an hour and be told cant use stoves etc.
@KimH4415877 · Camped on Sep 13, 2025
Because of the fire ban there were hardly any other campers there. It was so peaceful. The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms i've ever seen, they even smelled good!!! The camp hosts were very friendly and made frequent rounds to check on campers, but not in a way that felt harassing. We will definitely be back!

Had a great time! The people that worked there were very helpful and friendly.

I would not recommend this site unless you want to deal with the horrid smell from the bathroom and no privacy. Everyone walks past your campsite and there is only one flat section of land to put a 4-person tent on a rock vs the others that's all downhill. Camp host is friendly and there is other way better sites but not this one to make a memorable family camping trip. Check for fire restrictions, it was placed a day before ours so we couldn't even cook.

Great time overnight. Would do it again

The only thing I could suggest is that I accidentally locked the bathroom door and then no one else could get in. So if they could design a door that you can lock from the inside but you can't lock and then shut it and not be able to get anybody else get in that would be nice.

Nice campground, relaxing and quiet.
@WesleyVF38CFCE · Camped on Aug 30, 2025
Nice campground, but USFS put major fire restrictions in place leaving us with no way to eat (no propane stove) or to stay warm (no campfire). We left early. ? How many forest fires have been sparked by campfires in established campgrounds. I can think of none. We have requested refund.

Beautiful campsite and well maintained with friendly rangers, lots of toilet options, nicely spaced sites and conveniently close to the lodge and town of wrightwood. Has some shade and trails and dogs are welcome but on leash only. Was definitely a good time and we will be back!

We love camping at Table Mountain.
@TiareM25E14B3C · Camped on Aug 29, 2025
We were not allowed to make a camp fire or use a bbq or use a propane camp stove so we had to eat out to get a hot meal. The website said nothing about such restrictions at the time. Only after we got there, did they tell us that information on a piece of paper. Later, the website updated the information .

Surprisingly it wasn't hot there at the end of August. Shade depends on a camp site. 103 was good, 104 was not. Great getaway not too far from the city
@MisaelC25B97F5 · Camped on Aug 22, 2025
Only 4 stars due to a fire restriction but it is what it is. Better to keep the forest safe. This is my go to spot Every time, even in summer. Its high enough that its much cooler. Bathrooms and sites are always well kept and the hosts are great. Definitely check out this campground!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
