Campgrounds are right off the highway, you can see it from about half of them. Not ideal. Sites are small and very close to the other sites. Most sites are relatively flat. Large tents should fit in most. Flush toilets are great. I feel like this would be good for families with children. Not for staying up late, your noise would bother others.

Go a few miles away to Table Mountain.

I loved this campsite! It was so quiet, the bathrooms were very well maintained, and the nearby hiking was beautiful. It's also very close to town if you find yourself needing anything. We had a lovely time!

The campground is great, clean restrooms, with designated bearproof bin, and the campground is near a lake so you can walk around. Water is available near our campsite. I gave 3 stars because of the fire restrictions. I understand the dangers since we are in fire season but you should allow portable stoves with on and off valve just so we can heat water for coffee or reheat our food. Overall, camping here is great! Will definitely go back.

A wonderful campsite: clean and well kept. Our spot wasn't marked with our reservation because we booked online, and it was confusing to know if we were in the right place. When we arrived the site manager told us to leave, but he did find our reservation (and we enjoyed chatting with him from a distance).
