Campground was pretty and clean, only con was that there were so many bees at the site. When we cooked, there would be bees everywhere. Yes, I know its camping and we are outside, but I have camped at many other places in NPs and etc and never experienced this. It was so bad that we had to eat in our tent. I am not sure if it was just our site or other people at the campground experienced it too.

Very very nice stay- campsites are a little mis leading as to how big the sites were- a little smaller than expected- it all worked out and did enjoy our stay

This review reflects more on communication by the website. We were not able to stay at the campsite due to fire restrictions. They did not allow any campfires or even any open flame for cooking (ex. Propane stove). The nighttime temps were going to be in the 20’s so we were unable to stay, but no where on the website did it mention these fire restrictions. Only until we drove up to stay did the camp host let us know. There should be better communication on the website of any fire restrictions before we waste our time or money.

This campsite is operated by American Land & Leisure, an authorized 3rd party. Though we did not interact with the site host, we often saw them patrolling the area via golf cart and checking to make sure the bathrooms were in good shape. They also have firewood available to purchase via drop box at the back of the loop. Though this site does have flush toilets and water from spigots, there are no sinks in the bathroom. It wasn't a problem for us as we brought our own soap and towels, but we were surprised to see that. The campsites are very close together and there is little privacy between you and your neighbors. The site was clean and well maintained, including the firepits and picnic tables. There's a small lake is across the road and the town of Wrightwood is 10-15 minutes away if you'd rather pick up your breakfast or dinner than cook on the grill (we did both).

We didn’t mind being able not to make a fire, because it helped the campground be less populated. We loved having the campground to ourselves.

Wonderful campground. Visited on a Monday-Wednesday and nearly had the place to ourselves. Hiking and lounging around the lake were highlights. This was our second visit and we can't wait to return again!
