We moved from this campground to Mountain Oak campground. Lake campground is right on the highway with very small sites. We were in a B van, not a tent, so maybe that was the problem.

Campground was quiet and clean, including the restrooms. We bought firewood from the host (who took care of both grounds) at the larger campground across the street. Slept well in our tent on a mostly flat spot on our site. Jackson Lake (more like a large pond) is a 2-minute walk away, there are some hiking trails nearby (though we didn't use them), and the town of Wrightwood is a 10-20 minute drive. Overall, a nice, low-key place for relaxation.

The campground was nice. There’s a table and fire pit at every camp. The lake is a pond, and there really isn’t much to offer. The restroom was clean. Wouldn’t return.
Zero cell service.

Very quiet little campground very close to the lake. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the lake has not been stocked with fish making it hard to catch anything outside of small bluegill. The campground is about 15 mins out of Wrightwood which is a beautiful and friendly little town. Make sure to utilize the provided bear boxes as there are bears walking around in the area (you will see them as you camp).

Very nice area. Jackson lake is really close to the campground.

We had a nice time! The campsite was very spacious, but hilly. Very windy in both the afternoons and throughout our first night. Toilets are drop toilets with no sinks for hand washing. There are small water spouts near restrooms but it was unclear what these could be used for. A posted sign read that these not be used for dishwashing, but could potentially be hand washing if you brought your own soap. Great hiking in the area! We hiked Blue Ridge Trail which was 4 miles total with high elevation change, located just a few minutes up to the main road near the Mt. High slopes. There were also a few walking paths near the campsite and lake. The lake was too slimy for swimming but there were a few people on boats and rafts and a hand full of fishermen. It as beautiful to walk around and enjoy from the land. Thank you!!
