Love it here, been coming here for the past few years. Jim was a great host, he always made sure the restrooms were clean and fully stocked with toilet paper. He always made sure we hade everything we need and kept the site clean. Would definitely come back next year.

We had 11 people, three tents. The custodian was very nice, freindly and professional. Our area was large and appropriate for the games we played, badmitton, corn hole etc and the cooking and bear proofing accomodations were fine. Didn't see any bears. However it was quite hot and there were lots of insects biting any bare skin on our legs and a few misquitos. The toilets were swarming with various insects, primarily moths. I think we simply picked the wong time and should have camped in May or prehaps early Sept.

Very secluded area with minimal noise. We rarely heard the surrounding campsites. However, do recommend to bring either bug spray or a canopy for during the day.

It's a great group camping site just about 90 minutes from LA. We've camped here every year for the last 4 years and have always had a great time. The first year there was running water and that was awesome, but the last 3 you've had to bring your own water in AND use the portal-potties. (which are still much better than pit toilets, imo)

There's great hiking- even for kids- and the water tower provides a great lookout point as well.

The campground has flush toilets but they have not been maintained and they have to provide portables, has no water to wash your hands or put out the fire ring
