We arrived after dark and tried our best to get into the site the phone representative had suggested with no luck (30 odk so 32 with tongue length) . We found an empty pull through site nearby and parked for the evening. Next morning we went up to the wheelhouse the camp host was there. He was extraordinarily friendly and helpful and let us know that we could stay at the site. We had pulled through the night before. This is not a campground for very large campers. However, it is an amazing campground it offers quiet tree, covered for spots, semi open spots, lakefront sites, a beautiful boat launch, great picnic area, and beach area when the water isnt so high. The showers and bathrooms were well. Kept the host. Let us know that the bath houses will be updated in the fall and one shower house will be done at that time. This is a campground that we have already made another reservation at because the host were so helpful and campground staff were extremely nice. This campground was on one of my bucket list and I am really grateful that we made it there.

I have been camping at Kiasutha since I was a baby. I am now 30 years old and my family and I still come here every summer. It’s my absolute favorite!!! The only downside is the showers and bathrooms, but since we have a camper with a bathroom now it doesn’t affect me anymore. This place is so beautiful and I get so excited to come every year, now I get to share this place with my kids who love it just as much as I always have!

I’m trying really hard to love the Allegheny site management locations. It’s peaceful and relaxing for the most part. The gypsy moth caterpillars were a little much for my daughter and I, it seemed they were on EVERYTHING. We had site 38, which was actually a pretty nice site. Unfortunately it shares lake space with site 35, and when we arrived at 4 on Friday our neighbor had already set all of his stuff down there, and wasn’t very open to sharing it. So if you want your own lakefront site, don’t get 38 or 33. It seems the low cost of camping here attracts a different type.

Large, private sites, separated by trees. You aren't packed in on top of people.
