The lakeside campsite was very nice. Enjoyed being able to go right to the water from our site.

Kiasutha is a beautiful, quiet campground and allows us to not be stacked on top of each other. Plenty of shade and the water sites are easily accessible. Our only complaint is the shower house and bathrooms. Two of the 3 toilets (female) were out of order all week and the only one accessible was actually a urinal. The shower house is gross-one shower unusable, and the showers were not very clean. If you try to shower at night, it will most likely be cold! The shower heads were so strong they hurt! Please fix up the shower house and restrooms!

I booked these two sites months ago to assure our stay with the intent of possibly getting a "first-come-first-served" site. I left the house at six am, got there at ten, saw the site was open and tried to exchange it. I was told it was "reserved". WTF!They said it was a new policy. When I asked to see a new map of the sites, it still showed it as First-come-first served. We were there four days and no one ever used the site.RULES FOR THEE, BUT NOT FOR ME.

Kiasutha is one of my new favorite camping spots! We got a plot (039) with lake access for two nights, one full day. The area was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the scenery is gorgeous. We stayed pretty relaxed and didnt do any hiking on our trip but we did go to the Kinzu Marina (20 min drive) to rent a boat (we ended up only renting kayaks) and it is absolutely gorgeous out there. It is pretty quiet other than boats zipping up and down the reservoir and the night sky is to die for if you get lucky on moonless, cloudless nights! The Milky Way is visible on these kinds of nights. I do suggest bringing bug spray because being by the water presents an abundance of mosquitoes but other than that, I love this camp ground and will be returning in the future.
