We love camping at Bluff Creek but we sure would love to see the water around boat ramp cleaned up so we could get our boat in and out and not have to go down river to launch our boat. And if the banks alomg the water round the campground were cleared we could park our boat and not have to worry about snakes and gator hiding in the HIGH grass.

Campground host was very friendly. Internet service is nearly non-existent. Site was fairly level. Dump station has no water hookup for tank cleaning!!! We have stayed here before.

THIS IS THE PRIVATE REVIEW (I typed everything below on the wrong page). I want to give the gal who works the front gate/campground host a TWENTY STAR THANK-YOU!!! We spoke by phone earlier in the day when I told her that I would be a late arrival. She came back after her dinner to wait for me. I was so thankful. Please pass along how sweet and caring she is!! The campground and facilities are nice and the secluded location on the river is special - but its such a shame the paper mill (West Rock) assaults the eyes, ears and nose. It dominated my experience, Im sad to say.

Wish it was open year round. Campers want to cam camp in the CD colder weather as well!!

Great campground, only downside was that we could not check in until 4pm, as check out time was 3pm. That's not in line with the times of other campgrounds and makes it difficult for those that leave another campground in the morning and arrive at their destination in the early afternoon after the usual four hour drive. Strange that the campground is on Eastern rather than Central Time, but a good thing or we'd have to wait even longer to be able to check in, as we came from the east. Suggest check out be changed to noon, check in to 1pm.Parking sites were huge, paved, and overall very nice. Being beside the lake was great.
