Nicely maintained sites but the noise from the nearby factory was more noise than we anticipated.

Sites were level, scenic & lovely campground. Very noisy at night with the trains passing so close & some kind of construction or warehouse noise.

Stayed during New Years weekend. Beautiful campground. Very clean. The hosts are so helpful and friendly!

This park is well off the beaten path and is a beautiful park. There are small herds of deer that meander through the park. The Spanish moss on the trees just adds to it. The only downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is that there is a paper mill nearby and, if the wind is right, you'll smell it. You'll definitely hear it. It sounds like booms in the distance. Not enough to really take away from camping, but just something to be aware of. My only real complaint about the park is the camp hosts. The gentleman was less than helpful and seemed like he didn't want to be pulled away from his bag of potato chips and the book he was reading. If you're using Verizon, you'll have issues with cell signal. AT&T worked well for our friends.

Only thing the camp ground needs to stay open longer
