Its a beautiful campground. It was cold and windy, and I was camped at a site on the river. But I would happily return. Next time, though, I would pick a different site.

The park was beautiful but the bathrooms, especially the showers could use some updating. The bathrooms and showers were clean, though. There could have been a little more clean up in the campground. There were large sticks on both our lots thatshould have been picked up. We removed them and put under the trees. That said, I would definitely go back and highly recommend Isaac Creek.

We had a nice stay with a site along the river. It was good to have laundry available. We did a couple of loops around the campground but didn't find any other trails to hike. Showers and restrooms were clean.

I did not stay long, arriving at about 9:00pm and departing at 6:00am the next morning. However from what I did see the campground was clean and well kept. Shower/bathroom facilities were clean. Checkin was simple. I am booked again next month and perhaps I will be able to enjoy more of the campground.

Wonderful campground, lots of bike riding space, and a wonderful show every once in a while by the Jet fighter. I believe it comes out of Pensacola Naval Station, so it must be a Navy jet fighter.

As always, I enjoyed the six nights I spent there. The weather was pleasant with warm days and cool nights. Perfect weather for a campfire in the evenings.

Loved the fact it is truly out in nature (away from towns), no misc cars driving around the campground. Need secondary shower curtains in showers. Restroom and shower all kept clean. Washer and dryers in good working condition. Quiet and pleasant.

Always a peaceful place for the night. Quite a distance from Hwy 84 as roads circle around the locks and dam.

The area is very remote and pretty. The lady that checked us in was nice. We were on the riverside and our site #39, had a bunch of red clay dirt chunks all over the cement pad. My husband cleaned off the areas that we were walking on around the camper. There also were some old black flip flops at the end of our site on the riverside. Other than that, it was a quick one night stay.

My first trip with my kids (9,8,8,2) we had the best time ever!!! The view was amazing. We were loud and might have annoyed our neighbor because he moved but the gate keeper was the kindest most warm hearted person ever. I made another reservation for this weekend to go back! I saw some reviews people mentioned cell service. I stayed in lot 39 and had service the whole time. All sites have grills in the fire ring and stand alone. The smaller numbers are more wooden and 41-36ish are more open with the river view. It is VERY clean. We had a family of deer come visit our site. It was absolutely amazing

Like others have said, if you are looking for some quiet rest and a place to disconnect, Isaac Creek is the place. Very quiet and clean. I appreciated the paved roads for bicycling. Sites are large and well laid out.

This lovely campground has something for everyone: campsites along the river, campsites along the creek (some with docks), and campsites in the woods. The bathhouses are kept immaculate! Each site had a covered trash can and they pick up the trash several times a week. The sites are large - plenty of room for our 35' motorhome, our tow trailer, and our vehicle. There are some nice hiking trails down near the dam and around the cypress swamp. The campground is a bit remote (about 25 minutes from Monroeville for grocery shopping and restaurants), but its remoteness is part of its charm. For anyone looking to get away from it all, this is the place! We stayed 2 weeks and the time flew by. We were sorry to leave. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful.

I would like to see pictures of each campsite during the middle of a sunny day to get the full effect of each site.

The sites and facilities are kept in immaculate condition. The restrooms are heated and there is hot water in the showers. We don't see that much in Florida State Parks. All sites, even those off the river are very attractive.
