The camp sites were well maintained as were the rest rooms. The site was large and surrounded by trees to provide privacy.

What a beautiful location. Would be 5 stars but alas, no showers!

we could not understand why 4 out of 10 campsites were empty . The visitor center was great . The check out time at 10am is not very nice

Perfect camp ground around Acadia National Park! We stayed at A49 and we enjoyed a quiet, calm stay in early October with some star gazing. Clean and well maintained facilities and friendly staff. Has a 20A electric hook up and we had 5G coverage around our site.

Great September experience. Quiet campground, adequate infrastructure. Splendid trails using the shuttle to go down to Schoodic Point, enjoying the panoramic ocean scenery, and hiking all the way up from the Anvil back to the attractive Visitor Center. The abundance of mushrooms, fly agarics (yellow variety) in various phases of their life cycle all over the campground, and the discovery of smooth chanterelles as well as black trumpets (yumyum) made our visit a fairytale experience.Wi-fi, too, bravo!

The park staff were very friendly and helpful and the park itself was beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet setting and uncongested feel.

GREAT facility but I have to say after 4 years of travel there they decided to forbid me from having my small utility trailer on site. Really inconvenient for this to happen after several visits there in past when it was ok. All our gear stays in it .... inconvenient May have to rethink coming this year but Im sure they wont miss me.
