The RV sites are like Feng Shui Japanese garden. Each one is landscaped to blending perfectly with its surroundings.

Very nice campsite. Quiet and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.

Campsites were great. However, we were there the last night before closing. We were NOT told at check in, but when set up at site, small piece of paper said, had to be out, dumped, and out of park by 10AM next morning!! Rude surprise. This should have been posted on website, or at least when booking on last night of season. Also should have told use when checked in, and should have prorated the rate for hour or two earlier checkout. They were too busy worrying about masks and limiting access/checkin to only 1 person in cavernous building, rather then letting guests know were being kicked out early the next morning. Realize mask nonsense is result of Executive Order, so Let's Go Brandon!

We loved our camping experience at Schoodic Woods! It's a beautiful place; the sites are very private and spacious. The facilities were great, although there is not a shower. However, the dishwashing station really helped us preserve water and our grey tank. The rangers were friendly and very knowledgeable. We explored Schoodic - lots of beautiful places to hike and watch the sunrise/sunset, and we also drove and took the ferry to Desert Mountain to explore the main park. We didn't do the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, but we did get a pass to visit during the daytime hours and that was very nice. All in all, a wonderful time. i highly recommend it!
