Beautiful campground!! Quiet and well spaced. Extremely clean all around:). This is absolutely beautiful!!! Definitely check out the Schoodic Point area of Acadia- it is amazing:). Would stay here again in a heart beat!!Only downside is there is no hot water at the dish cleaning station:)

No hot water to wash your hands in restrooms. Not very sanitary. No showers either. What a shame

A modern campground with many amenities some sites with water and electric. The only improvement I would have is that there would be a parking place closer to the sink for those of us who cant carry our dirty dishes far to the sink if we dont have a campsite next to rest rooms.

Best. Campground. Ever. We had a delightful four night stay, and wish it could have been longer. Our site—and most of the sites—are beautiful and private. It appeared that every tree and plant was placed to enhance the beauty of our site and the campground. Our site only had electric, but the restrooms are immaculate and helped us conserve water. We attended three ranger talks, which were excellent. We hiked and rode bikes on the park road. We recommend getting a steamed lobster from the Coop in Winter Haven, riding the bus to Schoodic Point, and going to Me & Ben’s Dairy Crème. You will love it!

The only issue as I see it was our time there was too short. We were only able to book 2 nights of camping and that is just not enough time. There needs to be a better, easier way to get a full week even if you have to book a year out. The place is beautiful and the facilities and employees are always just so great we will go back but only after we go to a whole bunch more National Parks first!

The campground is beautiful, clean and nicely spaced out. I am looking forward to my next trip up. It used to be my Navy duty station so it holds fond memories.

Magnificent campground with easy shuttle access. Clean facilities and marvelous activities. We attended an evening presentation on constellations that was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The campground was updated and meticulously maintained and monitored. The sites were private and level. The surroundings quiet and beautiful. That being said I would not stay there again with children due to the restrictions. The campground has nice paved roads and while bikes are allowed, scooters are not. There are nice gravel walking paths but exploring off trail is not allowed. Also no flash light games at night-light pollution. There are also restrictions on where you can get water. There is a spigot on the side of the bathroom building but you are not allowed to hook up to it to fill fresh water tanks because "you will contaminate the water source." You have to go over to the other side of the campground to fill up. There is swimming in a local lake but because the loop around the island is one way you have to drive all the way around to get to it even though it's just a stone's throw away. There were a couple nice programs but not enough activities in or near the campground to keep the kids occupied. We misunderstood how the shuttles work. There is a shuttle at the main park (I highly recommend) and a shuttle that goes around Schoodic Island however they are not connected. The drive to the main park was inconvenient and long. Showering in town was another inconvenience and expense (again with kids.) The town near by has a small grocery store, also the best lobster. One night they cooked it for us. The next night we took it back to our site and cooked it ourselves.
