What an awesome park and campground to experience peace and immerse in nature.Super ty to staff and admin for keeping the grounds clean, safe, well maintained for all to enjoy.

Our planning was not ideal. We did not realize how restrictive this section of the park is. We ended up with not enough time to use the bus to see most of the park. We arrived in the afternoon after the bus service had ended and needed to move on to Mt Desert Island so couldn't take the time for the bus in the morning.

Very clean, well-maintained campground with electricity. The campsites are in great shape with level parking, electrical pedestals and plenty of room in the site, as well as, between sites. I highly recommend.

My husband and I have stayed at this campground 2 times now. Last year and this year. We will be making this an annual trip! The campground is the BEST one we have stayed at so far! Its clean, peaceful and just far away enough from civilization! Winter Harbor is the quieter side of Acadia and in my opinion more beautiful! Cant wait until next year!

We stayed one night in A loop and one in B. Both were great, private and quiet. Facilities were perfect, just as advertised. Amazing place and a great gateway to explore the area. A loop a little better in my mind.

Such a lovely secluded NPcampsite! We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We biked the Schoodic Peninsula. Did all of the trails around the campground, which were all dog friendly. We visited both Winter Harbor and Bunker Harbor. The visitor center was helpful. The bathrooms were immaculate and were of beautiful architecture. The walkways were lit and in good condition for walking. There was electrical and we were able to get 12 stations through our digital antenna! The dump station was easy to get to and super clean. We dumped and filled with water on day 3 and pulled right back into our site. It is our favorite NP campground!!!

Great campground, plenty of space between sites, and this area was way less congested than the Desert Island area. And, unlike the two NPS Campgrounds on Desert Island, this facility has water and electric.Well done Park Service.

Great campground, loved riding our bikes around the island and seeing all the great natural wonders there.. only little thing was no showers.

This was our third visit and love it. Scenery, clean, price is right!! The only thing that would make it 6 stars is an on-site shower!

The campground was well laid out. The sites had ample tree coverage and privacy. The washrooms were convenient and clean. The access to trails and biking were also very good
