Beautiful!! Very large, spacious, wooded, quiet spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cant wait to come back.

The Park staff are extremely helpful. I especially want to mention the park supervisor Katie Daigle. I found her very compassionate and helpful. Our truck which was towing our RV broke down in the registration lane and had to be towed. away for repairs. She arranged for the camp host to come tow our RV to our site. Her concern our our plight was much appreciated. Larry, the host, was also terrific. THANK YOU SCHOODIC CAMPGROUND

Schoodic Woods is a beautiful well maintained campground. The sites are well spaced and a short walk to the bath houses.

Schoodic Woods was just a fantastic place to stay and explore another area of Acadia National Park away from Bar Harbor. The campground is clean, sites are very spread out and very quiet.

Another wonderful stay at a new site for us. B29. Nice and long and private. Enjoyed taking the shuttle to the trailhead at the south end and hiked back along the ridge to the campground. Also went for a paddle on the local pond. Everything is still so clean and new looking. The trees have grown a lot which adds more privacy at many sites.

Our visit was 5 nights and our first time to Acadia. Perfect choice for our Super C RV. Very peaceful and quiet. Sites are private and relatively level. We enjoyed the Schoodic hiking much more than the main park, which was crowded and no parking.

Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Everywhere in the park and in the campground was well kept and clean. The best we have yet to see!

Big space with electric and water hookup. Close to dump station. Site was quiet and clean. Close to hiking trails and shuttle. Bathrooms were nice and clean. We were in B29. Loved every part of it. Wish we could have stayed longer.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds I've been to in Maine. The sites are well maintained, private and spacious. The staff are all very friendly and informative about the area. Easy access to many trails for hiking and biking. The only drawback was the sketchy wi-fi connection in A-loop. (Needed to check security system at home when alarm went off. Turned out to be an opossum on the porch). Had stayed previously in B-loop and there was no problem. Would highly recommend for family, singles, even groups. Looking forward to a longer time there in 2022.

This was a terrific campground in Acadia National Park near Winter Harbor. We stayed here in our 30' travel trailer in site B29 with water and 50 amp electric. Our site was level and quite large with plenty of privacy. We had good cell phone coverage (Verizon) and good WIFI (best near the maintenance shop) but no OTA TV channels. The bath house was clean and well serviced. The dump station was very easy to access. The drive out to Schoodic Point and return (stop at Bunker's Wharf Restaurant) was nice and there was a good hike down to the lower harbor trail from the campground. There are some great biking trails around the park here. The campground is about an hour from the main park near Bar Harbor and well away from all the hustle and bustle you will find there. The crowds in the park there were terrible - no place to park and tour buses everywhere. We camped at Schoodic Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer
