When I reserved site, it was posted that WiGi was available at bathrooms. When I arrived the only WiFi was inside the Ranger Station. There is no cell service so WiFi is essential to be in tough with ailing family members.

Fantastic campground, 3rd year in a year and it is always great, more mosquitoes this year due to rain but still a fun spot!

We loved camping in this part of Acadia National Park. It was so quiet and serene! Beautiful campsites, nicely separated with lots of trees between. Squeaky clean restrooms, though having showers would have been nice. We biked the Schoodic Loop and did some hiking. Schoodic Point is amazing! The little towns of Winter Harbor and Birch Harbor are close and have some good restaurants. The drive to Mt. Desert is long, about an hour, and this section of the park has a lot more people. We biked the carriage roads (one of our top experiences), saw the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain (not a top experience), and drove the park loop road (go early in the morning for less traffic). Skip the popover experience at Jordan Pond, it's overhyped. We waited forever and had terrible service. Skip Bar Harbor unless you like crowds and tourist shops.

The Schoodic Campground is beautiful and the staff are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable! Kayak from Frazer point, hike the beautiful trails, and enjoy the spectacular views at Schoodic Point. And don't forget to visit the J. M. Gerrish Cafe and the Downeaster in Winter Harbor for wonderful food, and Me and Ben's for great ice cream in Birch Harbor!

Best National Park Campground in USA! The Park Service should take notes on how to design and operate all National Park campgrounds like Skoodic campground. We stayed at all 3 Acadia Park campgrounds, Seawall, Blackwoods and Schoodic . Schoodic was best . Seawall is a sad campground that needs to be funded to remodel...Seawall has divided single sites into double sites by painting a line down the middle of the site, now you are lest then 4 feet from your neighbor! The national park service needs to visit Schoodic and copy. These national park campgrounds needs leadership to make the needed improvements . Great job at Schoodic keep up the good work and hopefully the leaders in the NPS will come and visit your park and take notes and photos!

Lovely campground. Pristine as NP campground should be. Also, wifi! Not so much in our campsite, but stringer near the bathrooms.

Schoodic Woods campground is by far the best national park campground we have had the pleasure of staying at! It is well laid out with spacious sites which are quiet, clean and placed to enhance the natural beauty of the forest. The close bus ride to Schoodic Point is a plus and shouldnt be missed!

The sites are huge and private. I cant recall ever having a campsite this nice! Another plus is a no awning light rule. This made nighttime star gazing very enjoyable. The scenery is spectacular, there are some excellent restaurants very close. Its about a 45 minute drive to Bar Harbor and the main part of Acadia National Park but a very scenic one. There is so much to see and do so allow yourself plenty of time. We stayed 5 days, would have liked a few more. And upon leaving there was even hand sanitizer at the dump station!!
