This campground was beautiful and very well maintained. It appeared each site was a pull through and very private from your neighbors. We stayed late in the season and wished the campground would have stayed open a little longer in the season. The Schoodic loop drive was absolutely incredible. I have since recommended this drive to friends.

Beautiful, well run park. Restrooms were spotless and our site was so private.

Great campground, spacious shady sites with water & electric hookups. Far superior to any other NPS campground weve ever used. It would benefit from having showers and an additional dump station. There was a ridiculously long line at the single dump station on the way out, so plan for that and leave your campsite early or maybe even dump tanks the night before you leave.

First time camper at Schoodic Woods and it was perfect for us. This is the "Quiet, Quiet Side" and we loved it. Big sites with electric, great dump station, lots of privacy. We biked the loop on our e-bikes and visited Frazer Point daily. After watching the tide turn one day for an hour at the bridge near Frazier Point, we got brave enough to inflate our kayak and paddle for two hours the next day around high tide. Delightful! Winds stayed below 10 mph and current was barely noticable in Winter Harbor. Mosquito cove and beyond was very peaceful and we hardly saw another boat. We'll be back to this side on our next trip to Maine.

We had a great time at Acadia. The camping site was perfect, quite and clean! We arrived close to 10pm. Next morning had breakfast in Winter Harbor and off to hike up Cadillac Mt.

A bit short staffed when we arrived. However, this is our favorite campground in Acadia. It's so well done. Nice wide sites for trailers and large RVs with plenty of trees and vegetation for a feel of being in nature. We love it that there is a shuttle bus that starts when the campground opens. Great biking and hiking and bird watching.

One of the best National Park campgrounds we have stayed in. Huge sites, very clean, quiet, helpful staff and beautiful setting with lots of trees. Loved it.

The Schoodic Campground far exceeded our expectations. The sites were huge, immaculate, and very private. We were greeted each morning with a beautiful symphony of bird songs and little furry friends. We found the maintenance team to be extremely thorough and pleasant. I've never seen a waste removal crew take the time to clean the dumpsters and make sure the wheels were properly greased. This is amazing. The care and attention to detail is impressive. The park rangers were very helpful right from check-in through check-out 6 days later. They were always willing to answer any questions and give recommendations for things to do that were appropriate for our children's ages. We went down to the main road where there was a bike rental shop so we could ride the well maintained gravel trails all over the peninsula. Due to the secluded and remote nature of this part of the main park, we never fought traffic or even saw a group of people larger then 8-10. We walked all over the coastline along the loop road and made 1000's of memories that we will never forget. Watching the sunset from Schoodic Point is MANDATORY. We recommend this park and campground to everyone we talk to.
