Love coming here. Great campground. Clean facilities. Easy access to peninsula. Quiet and respectful overall. A25 is nice but keep in mind major sun exposure from morning to afternoon. Limited shade!

Sites are well spaced. Bathrooms are clean. No showers. Staff is super friendly. Love going to Schoodic point for sunset. The trails from the campground are ideal for biking. We hiked several-- they are primarily through the woods with one along the shore and a long one that gets to a lookout. Of note: i wouldn't leave anything behind again when I leave; our wood was stolen while we were out for the evening.

Nice, clean, private campsites. Very peaceful, quiet and a great way to escape the Acadia crowds. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean too.

A really well designed campground, plenty of space between camp sites, bathrooms are super clean, quiet at night and theyare serious about keeping a "dark sky. My favorite NPS campground.

Schoodic is a lovely campground. The main sites are spacious, yet private. The walk-in sites are rustic and even more private. It feels like you're the only ones in the campground! The only thing about the walk-ins is that there are no fires allowed, so if you want that campfire experience, reserve one of the main sites. There is a stop at Schoodic Campground for the free Acadia Island Explorer buses that can get you to Mount Desert Island where the majority of Acadia National Park is. However, Schoodic point is beautiful and offers a quieter Acadia experience.

Short coming having to lug water from the toilet building. Sites beautiful and private. Plan to book in section B this year. Would be nice to have sewerage in the facility as well but not as critical.
