We love camping here, its always a solid 5/5. However, we went the second week of September and it wasnt a positive experience. If youre looking to camp here stick with the early months of summer, dont go at the end. Nearly all the bathrooms were shut down for maintenance. The ones that were open had clearly not been cleaned in a..while. When we got to our site - check in is always at 2, there were still the previous campers there who were supposed to be out by noon. They hadnt even started packing up. We went to find the campsite/park ranger. She said the normal ranger was out on vacation and she was filling it and she acknowledged that the previous campers should have been out 2 hours prior. She never made rounds around the campsite - she stayed in the RV the entire time, except for the one time we asked her to ask the previous campers to pack up. She made light of the situation, like us having to wait until almost 3pm in our vehicle for them to leave was not an issue. We drive hours to get to swift creek, so having to wait while they packed up their whole site was frustrating. The neighbors we had kept their string LED lights on the entire night and blared loud music past 2am. Again, if the ranger/employee had made her rounds even once shed see the lack of courtesy our neighbors had. Lastly, we bring our dog with us (who does not love the presence of other animals). Multiple groups down at the community swimming area had their dogs off leash and ran up to our dog, causing major issues. Whenever we go in the summer, there is always an employee making sure everyones dogs are not off leash.

Space was clean and nicely located near all the basic needs. The beach was nice, except for folks who left their sun shelter there all the time claiming the spot the whole weekend. That should be banned so others can have an opportunity to utilize the limited beach space. Other than that, nice campground. Would love to see showers and wash up sinks in the future. The outdoor rinse shower was not working.

This is my campground of choice at Baker Lake. The camp hosts decided to have a party on the night I stayed, and partied until 2 thirty in the morning, this should be unacceptable for anyone camping, especially for the camp hosts who should know quiet time starts a 10pm. Hope to not have this happen to me again..

had a great time again at swift creek campground.

Site was a close walk to the toilet and the lake access. Shrubs lined the site creating some visual privacy. The only downside is that it is right next to a group site and both days we were there the groups at that site were VERY loud and I could hear everything word of their conversations from stolen identities to pyromaniac kids.

Love this campground and the camp hosts are great people, nice boat launch and mooring dock.

The campground and bathrooms were very clean and the hosts were very excellent. We love to swim, kayak and bike when we go there on our annual trip.

I was there mostly for sockeye fishing so I didn't venture out to do any other activities but I do love the campground.

Beautiful setting on Baker Lake. Campsites are fairly large and feel very private, because of the vegetation that separates each site. Campsites are tent and RV. Neither have water or electricity in them. So you will hear generators running. The bathrooms are basically outhouses with no running water, but were clean.

Very nice and clean campground. Nice private camping spots with a lot of vegetation between each one. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The dirt road into the campground has no speed limit, and the campsites on the east side are covered in dust from the non-stop speeding vehicles that are only 30 feet away. To make it worse, we were woken up dozens of times each night because trucks pulling boats were coming into and leaving the campground to launch their boats throughout the night. Literally all night.

If you like the sound of generators and partying, this is your spot!

Beautiful, quiet and clean. Everyone at the campground was fishing except for us but that meant there were no loud groups or parties. The swimming area is a great place to put in your paddle board.

Nice clean campground. Hosts were constantly patrolling to keep it clean.

Camp hosts were awesome and very accommodating. Sites are roomy, bathrooms are very clean and setting is beautiful. Only thing thats not desirable is all of the dust from the roads in the park and tons of fisherman traffic.

This is a stunning lake and campground is well maintained. Host is very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Yurt 1, which worked great for us because we had two young children. They had a blast. I would not recommend the yurts for someone looking for more privacy, because they are right by the boat launch and there is constant activity. But we enjoyed our time very much. We will return and maybe try other campsites. I loved the yurts but its too bad they are right by the boat launch. I can see it getting extremely busy (and loud) during salmon fishing season.

The yurt is freezing cold at night and located at close proximity to the other yurt, no privacy

It's a long drive from Highway 20 to get to Swift Creek, and while the lake and grounds were beautiful, we felt it is best experienced with non-motorized water craft, which we didn't have. Without a boat, one cannot see a view of Mount Baker from the campground. Latrines were well-maintained and immaculatethe cleanest I've ever seen at a park campgroundthanks to our charming campground hosts. Our campsite was lackluster, but other sites looked far more appealing; a consequence for registering late. A great place to swim in the lake, if you can stand water that cold.

What a beautiful campground! The forest and the lake are so serene. The campground is very clean and well maintained. We are definitely going back in the future.

We enjoy Swift Creek. We like the layout of the campsite and the campsites. Also, improvements have been made to access the swimming area and the large pieces of wood have been cleaned out. Although, the large rocks on the beach are hard on the feet.

We love this campground and go every year. The team that manages this campground are first rate!!! Everything is clean and ready to go when you show up. Campsites, bathrooms, swimming area, boat launch and docks are beautiful. Not to forget the view are amazing.

This is our 3rd time staying at Swift Creek. Weve been camping at Baker Lake for 40 years (and have fond memories of visiting the resortaka now swift creek campground back in the day for forgotten items) but recently started staying in campgrounds. Its well maintained, clean restrooms, and has a nice dock. We like the double sites for our big family. The upgraded swimming area is great too!!

One of the best campgrounds we've been to at baker lake. Clean, quiet, has a dock to leave our boat at so we don't have to pull in and out. I was worried with some of the other reviews, but we stayed in campsite 26. Mild dust, but it does have a good boarder of vegetation yo block it. Dust is mainly from cars driving dobfast entering the campgoub.... slow down. Its pretty secluded from other camps. Lots of berries for kids to pick and places to put up hammocks. Definitely no complaints.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
