Horseshoe Cove Campground is located in the Mt. Baker Ranger District, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest (1 hr 4 min east of Mount Vernon, WA) with an elevation of 736 feet. There are a total of 40 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to mid September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Fees range from $35.00 to $92.00. Some amenities include boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Great place for family fishing and camping. Opening day is alway packed, but a beautiful lake and view of Mt. Baker are well worth it.

Very clean park, very chill. Stayed 2 nights a few days after 4th of July and was very happy with the state of the park. Be mindful of the mosquitos (next to a lake after all) but it is so so worth it to experience the beauty of Baker Lake and the scenery around it. Campsite 15 is amazing. No cell service so come prepared to disconnect and enjoy friends and family and the serenity of nature.

I had an incredible stay at Horseshoe Cove Campground! From start to finish, the experience was peaceful, scenic, and well-managed. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, always available to answer questions or offer advice about nearby activities.The campsites were spacious, level, and meticulously maintained. You can really tell the staff takes pride in keeping the area clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen at a campground; well-stocked and regularly serviced.One of the true highlights is the beautiful lake view. Whether you're waking up to mist rising off the water or watching the sun set behind the trees, the setting is simply breathtaking. Its a perfect spot for kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by the shoreline.Highly recommend for families, solo campers, or anyone looking to unwind in a quiet, well-kept natural setting. I'll definitely be back!

This was a fun little campsite. It was like a little nook with lots of privacy. It is really small and would only fit our large tent and a small 4 person tent probably. We are a small family of 4 and we were comfortable. I'd say a family of 6 would feel comfortable here. The mosquitoes were terrible though. Nothing but spray with deet in it will deter those guys. I'd recommend one of those canopies that have netting for sides to put around the table in the evening.

The campground is great. Not too big. Its clean, the beach is beautiful and its proximity to other outdoor activities is good. There seems like there is no longer anyone patrolling anymore so a lot of speeding through the camp ground and our picnic table seemed like it needed replacement last year but Im guessing thats all budget cuts unfortunately. We didnt use it so it wasnt a big deal.

Fantastic setting. So beautiful and having the camp right next to a lake is outstanding. It is great for enjoying the outdoors as well as activities.

This is a very nice site on a point with great views and water access if you can climb a somewhat steep bank. The only detraction is there are two other group sites very nearby and the occupants don't always think they need to respect quiet hours

Our campsite could have used some landscape maintenance. Grass was tall and kids kept catching themselves on thorny bushes. Camp host did come by and clean it up a little bit though. Campground as a whole is nice and we enjoy camping there.

The website says there are first come first serve sites, but that is not true. The host had a note that made it very clear they dont deal with any of that stuff and every site just says reserved all week. So theres really no first come sites. And we never actually saw the host. Also the main bathroom with running water was closed.. not really sure why but it was inconvenient.

Terrible camp hosts this year. The flush toilets were clogged and the water pump for the campground failed. No communication about these problems and they disappeared to off duty status shortly after my arrival. Loud neighbors past quiet hours. A shame

The mens bathroom's floor and stall walls were filthy. For what is charged they should be spotlessly clean. They looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time.There was a campfire ban on and several campsite had fires burning. What is wrong with people. The forest service needs enforcement in this campground. This is the problem with letting private companies take over the operation of our public felicities.

This is a very nice campground. I stayed in group site C which was a really good size. It has 3 picnic tables and 1 fire pit. Bathrooms were clean and each group site had their own water spigot at your site. Downside was most of the site was paved so you couldn't stake your tent down in most spots. There were some spots you could but more that you couldn't then could. Group site C wasn't on the lake you had to walk to it. Also you were in the sun most of the day with little to no shade. Campground has a nice swimming beach and nice trees everywhere around the campground. I would definitely go back.

The site is wonderful! So private and serene. The pit toilet was cleaned only once during our 3 days which was disappointing. The host had wrong signage up . But we corrected it so people could find the correct sites. Overall a wonderful experience due to the perfect location!

Great campground on the lake with beach, boat launch and a trail. The campsites are well spaced and most have good privacy. However, after reserving a particular site (thinking that it would front the lake), when I got to the campground I discovered that the site numbers did not correspond to the ones depicted on recration.gov campground map! They must have added an additional camp site and renumbered the sites past it without updating the online map. So, we ended up with the reserved site being on inside of the loop instead of on the outside as expected.

On the second day of our stay the bathroom women's bathroom ran out of toilet paper and was not replaced for the rest of our stay. The bathrooms were never mopped, even though the campsites were full. We asked the camp host if he knew where a certain trail head was and he assured us he did and sent us in the opposite direction of where we should have headed. I still love this area, the lake and views are awesome. The hiking is great. This year, although no one's fault, was very smokey so our views and activities were very limited.
