My Family and I reserved space #11 it was clean, a massive amount of space for a campsite my kids had lots of space to roam without disrupting the neighbors Host are attentive Great for large families

Wheeler Gorge certainly lived up to its billing as a primitive campground. However, we came prepared and enjoyed our camp spot next to a babbling brook replete with frogs to serenade us as night fell. B sure to bring everything you need for your stay.If you get desperate, Ojai is only a short drive away.

Crowded and noisy. Nature trail not maintained.

This was our second time to this campground and haven’t been disappointed. The hosts are nice and very helpful. The creek is great for the kiddos to splash around in. I highly recommend.

The campground hosts were amazing. Very helpful, very kind. The first night, my wife parked across the highway as she was only going to be there for a few hours. After dark, I drove her over to the car. The campground host (I forget his name...I wish I didn't)..drove his cart across the way to check in on my wife, for he knew that she had parked her car there. I was blown away that someone would do this....a lost art almost, watching out for the welfare of others. The campground looked great. We had a memorable time. Thank you

Lots of shade which was nice. There's no water on the campsite even for washing the dishes. The site was a bit dirty. (Toilet papers scattered here and there).
