Super clean campground with friendly hosts and lots of activities to do nearby. The camp sites were private, and I enjoyed the amount of space we had. Looking forward to coming back!

It is a beautiful campground but our site was overrun with hornets. It kinda spoiled the whole trip.

We stayed at site amphitheater 18 which is right by the entrance for the camp ground and right next to the host, we had good amount of shade as the rest of the camp ground and we were lucky to have the portable water right next to us.$8 Firewood available for sale and its self serve so you can pay and take it at any given time even if the host not there.Vault and Flush Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained, showers has hot/cold waters but dont forget your quarters before you go $1.75 gives you 7 minutes. There is a small mart about half a mile of the camp ground if you ran out of ice or forgot the chocolate for the smores! Laguna Mountain Lodge MartThere is also a restaurant right by the entrance of the camp ground if you up to a French toast in the am or some eggs for breakfast, but do avoid the pancakes!

Our camp hosts here are like family for the locals that come up frequently. They are extremely attentive if needed and keep the site absolutely beautiful. We stayed right as the sites were being shut down for covid, but were able to get two days in before they closed. It has great hiking access, and if needed you can walk to the small market about a mile away on the main road. Would absolutely recommend this location!

My favorite campground in all of San Diego County. Very quiet, great location in Mt Laguna, the camp host Stuart is very kind and friendly. I went 3 times in 2019 and will continue to camp there once spring comes around!
