Good place to camp, just the way it is. Beautiful area for getting away to relax. Park personnel friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful if needed.

We enjoyed this campground. It is just a short walk over the dunes to the beautiful beach. It is very clean and we Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. If you camper is bigger than 39 feet most sites would not work.

Great campground just over the dunes from the ocean. Nice bathrooms. Did not shower so can't speak to how they were. We were in site 21C so was somewhat secluded even though a walking path to the beach was next to our site. The sites by the bathroom had people walking through to get to them as there were no specific "bathroom paths". There was a fishing center across the street with store, restaurant, small bar you could walk to, and between 3-5PM the fishing boats would come in and many people watched to see what big fish were caught that day. Was fun to see!

Beautiful campground, well maintained, right on the beach, quiet. Next time Id choose a site not next to a trail as the trail is just a few feet wide which lends to certain other campers allowing their dogs relieve themselves feet from our camper door, under our picnic table etc.

A lovely spot beautiful dunes, great beach access, close to fishing, hiking kayaking or just plain relaxing. Our RV has a beautiful picture window in front. We backed in and there is no view there. I wish we thought of that. When the weather gets cooler or warmer consider your view.

Beautiful campground on the beach. Quiet. 3 miles from village and there is a bike lane connecting with the village. 1718 Brewery and restaurant next door are great.

Wonderful campground. Walk to beach. Sites in center under water because of all your he rain but we were on outer edge.

We got to see the other side of the sunny graveyard of the Atlantic. We will always love Oregon Inlet and the outer banks. However, this last week plus, we camped through an unpredicted Nor-easter of 20 knots +/- everyday. The pure rawness was still unique and beautiful.

Nice, large, clean spots with cooking grills -- short walk to the beach and in the centre of the entire Outer Banks for ease of visiting Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Wright Brothers Museum, etc. Park Hosts & Park Rangers were friendly & very helpful. I will definitely make a point of returning!!!!

The bathhouses/showers need to be modernized in particular to accommodate those coming in the fall. I look at it as Park Leadership owning it. They could easily partner with local Vo-tech or Technical schools to make win-win while thinking out of the box to avoid prevailing wage regs. The same could apply to other maintenance issues needing addressed at the Park. I do not want to diminish that we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Adequate, but tight camping spaces. Good water supply. Reliable electricity. Showers are classic beach showers with a pull lever that activates the water valve. The shower stalls are like bathroom stalls, but outside in the middle of the campground. Water pressure was good.Garbage on site.Good camp staff.Close to beach.

Dump station closed. No alternative offered. Later found out there was one. Only on if 3 shower/restrooms open yet the camp was full. Disappointed. The place is great otherwise. Cant beat location and beach access

Booked last minute for our 1 night stay after touring the Wright Brothers Memorial site. This cg is just 20-30 minute south. We enjoyed having electric at our site as we had been boondocking the previous 2 nights. Friendly hosts and clean campground.

We love staying at this campground. It's always clean and we always meet nice people there. The marina across the street is convenient for fishing. The beach being right on the other side of the dune is really nice.

We had a relaxing time. There are many things to do and see out here, lighthouses being a special one to us, but also a great place to sit still. Didnt hurt that for the most part we had good weather. Will be back for sure.

I have to say that for my family, this past week was a WONDERFUL escape from the Corona virus induced cabin-fever that we have been suffering from over the past several months. The weather was perfect, the campground was tidy and inviting. We spent several afternoons at the beach just mins from the campground. But I do have to warn you about the mosquitoes. They were HORRIBLE. Especially at night. The only way we could survive outside the camper was in the screen house that we brought. Bug spray helps but doesn't completely protect you. I suggest investing in a thermacell.
